Of course no one will love and care for your baby more than you do. Thats a given. Not ALL groomers are like you state. I must just have an exceptional groomer. He cuddles and loves and takes care of Bridget as if he's her own and never does more than one dog at a time. It does go beyond. And to most dog owners their groomer is not a complete stranger. The accident in the original post is horrific and I can understand how it would scare people off using a groomer. I give a lot of credit to those who choose to do grooming themselves, that however was not my personal choice and I was lucky enough to find a groomer who I trust implicitly. It all comes down to choice I don't think one choice is better or worse than the other. And I'm sure your not implying that those who choose to use groomers love our babies less right?

You can read into it however you like. I've stated my opinion in the previous posts and don't plan on stirring controversy if that is what you are looking for. I personally don't agree with other people handling MY baby, no matter how lovey and cuddly they appear to be while I'm there. That is MY personal choice and opinion. I choose to educate myself on grooming her.

No controversy here. Just stating my opinions in an open forum as others do and have done. Everyone is entitled to their own feelings on any given issue and I was just stating mine as you did the same. We're all adults here, we CAN agree to disagree.

Gina that is sooo cute do share...lol I use to cut hair many moons ago, I should try to groom Gucci but she doesn't stay still.

I read it last week.
NY POST had it like this, Puppy Fried to Death. News paper creeps they are.

I would never leave Remi anywhere, not even overnight at a hospital. we also groom him oursleves, not as good as groomers but just fine.
I feel really bad for the family, they are not planning to sue, just in shock to take any action at all.
