EXTREMELY well said! I was raised in a foster home and as bad as it was, it was far better than sharing a room with 19 other girls in a dorm in the orphanage. And my foster mother always told me that "when you live in a glass house, don't throw stones". Something I always try to remember when I want to criticize someone...somebody get me a bottle of Windex please??? I need to clean these glass walls!!! :D

A lot of people want to knock her but I think that unless you are pefect you shouldn't speak. She has had her issues and honestly everyone has. You stumble along until you get to the be the person you will eventually be. Her past is her past. She doesn't seem to attempt to make herself something she is not...she is an imperfect being that did some not so good things but has changed. I don't think that anyone should disparage her for her past mistakes because we all make them. People can change in time with help, guidance and just plain old hard work.

I don't think that she uses her children for attention. She is not paris hilton. She seems to genuinely care for her children. I do think that her money and being who she is definitely paved the way to a faster adoption. But you know what the bottom line is she is giving those two children a good life and no one can say differently. She could be like a lot of those stars that are only with their children a few minutes and then on to the nanny. She seems to be actively involved in her children's lives. She is said to plan her shooting schedule around with them in mind.

As for her homewrecking tendencies...it takes two to tango. You can't only blame her for what there is. A lot of people are spouting off because they dislike her for the love triangle that was there but we can't really speak on it being as only they know the truth.

As for the freaky things that she has done sexually and with her man or boyfriend...hey you know what that was between CONSENTING adults so hey. Everyone has their thing and as long as it doesn't involve minors then who is to say it's wrong. Everyone isn't interested in the same flavors.

She has done a ton of charity work...how many people with means and opportunity can you say the same of. So no matter what I think she has a good heart and seems to genuinely care for others. So many people with money out there...you dont' see that many of them involved.

All of you married folks on her will agree with me that a marriage takes an effort and work. It can't work if you only think of yourself and not the relationship at hand. You can't blame Angelina for the fact that Brad and Jen both seemed to think that their careers were much more important than their marriage. So being that Jen wanted a career she chose that over marriage and a family. So you can't fully blame Angelina for their deteriorating marriage.

I understand people liking one actor or actress over another. However, I don't really get it. Most people have never met these people and are basing their opinions on the images they protray. remember chances are good these images are created by a team of PR specialists & may not be a reflection of who the person truely is. Like say Tom Cruise, I'm pretty sure he was always weird, but he used to have a PR person that hid his little oddities. As an example most people think Meg Ryan is a sweetie based on the image she protrays however, I had a friend that worked as an extra on a the movie Proof of Life & said that she was a totall B***H.

Thanks....marriage is too hard and when you make other thing like fame and fortune more important that it then it will never work.

Personally their priorities there were a bit skewed so it left the door open to outside interference.

I agree about marriage. I'm with my hubby 24-7, but can you imagine being in a marriage where you away from your mate 3-4months at a time & part of your job is smooching & pretend lovemaking with another man. It would be really hard on your spouse not to get jealous & your marriage to survive. I have friends that are married actors & they refuse to do love sceens with other actors & no nudity, they of course are having a hard time finding work. But their marriage & values are more important than money.

Yea, it's wrong to say that someone who previously used drugs would not be a fit parent. I'm 24 and I just straightned up my life only 3 or 4 years ago and I feel I would be a great parent for when I decide to have children. Yes, just like Angelina I have done about every drug you can name (not heroin or crack though...just everthing else) and have been to jail and there is no way I would go back to that way of life. As long as you can make that decision to grow up and be an adult then you deserve a second chance. Who are any of you to judge her or me for my past... And if it comes to the day that my husband and I decide to have kids and for some reason I cannot and we choose to adopt... I hope the person who is making the decision is not as simple minded as some of your comments are on this situation.
