Wedding Proposals... Ok so I've been getting some hints from the b/f about a "ring". I don't know when it's going to happen but I know he will be proposing soon. I'm excited about it, so I would love to hear about how he proposed to you :D |

Well our parents are officially meeting for a formal dinner at my parents house at the end of June..He was joking around and he goes "Don't you go proposing to me at dinner now" and I said You'll be waiting a lonnnnng time for that honey. And he says "What would you do if I proposed to you, would you run off?" I go, no I would enjoy my dinner a lot more though. Then we laughed about it, like it was a joke. THENNNN I lost my ring (family heirloom) and was going nuts at his aunts house. He was trying to make me smile so he turns over to me and says "Well think of it this way, you lose one ring, you may gain another" Totally hinting. My boyfriend can't keep a surprise even if his life depended on it. I think he's starting to leak..lol...he's the kind of guy that can't wait for stuff. Like he gives birthday presents days before a birthday or the occasion..lol |
won't Baby Fidgette be upset if you marry someone else? Isn't that illegal in this country? |

I don't think it's this weekend. The dinner is June 24th, so the earliest is then but maybe he's trying to throw me off his trail?? I even joked and said "is 5 weeks enough time for you to buy me the ring of my dreams??" and he just gave a smirk :p |

My hubby and I had only been dating a short while when he decided to pop the question....He had worked all night and after he got off of work, he drove 2 hours to find the perfect ring...by the time that he got to my house, he had been up a total of 24 hours straight! it was dark outside and i lived way out in the country at the time, and we would often lay outside and stare at the stars...he led me outside, and told me to climb up onto the roof of his truck :eek: i'm totally scared of heights, but he said that it was the only way that i could see one particular group of stars....once i got up there, he said "you trusted me enough to face your fears...will you trust me with the rest of your life?" :love: of course, i said YES, and he's been protecting me ever since :) |
i think if im still with my b/f after the summer, i will get engaged too.. he already asked me my ring size.. he also knows what type of stone i want. and around how many karats too... we will see... |

My hubby "officially" proposed on one knee at dinner. But, we had been talking about it for a few months, picked out rings together and the dinner was on our 8 month anniversary. But it really doesn't matter how/when if you know you will say "yes". The fairy tale continues - on Tuesday, May 23 we celebrate 25 years of marriage - and I was just 19 when we got married!! |

Mine is NOT special - I was in High School & found out I was pregnant. After LOTS of talking to my girlfriend she actually told me that Peter - (my 1st husband) wanted to marry me....I remember asking him if he was VERY VERY SURE (we were young) and He said .....I've loved you my whole life.........right then and there I said Yes to being both a wife AND new mother.... So.....I graduated high school Married ...with my 2 month old son there with me. They even called his name at the Graduations Ceremony and gave him a little tiny diploma.:D this is my baby 9 months later our first week in Texas...I LOVED being a young mommy. He's all grown up now but we're very close...and I STILL love my first husband |

Sweetie...The way you're doing it is MUCH better lol - and it's so special that you really aren't sure and get to be totally obsessed with WILL HE or Won't He ? I hope it's a YES and things work out for you....just take your time and do it right - it looks like you have a great start now ....and I can't wait to hear more about this after your big dinner.
