I'm in AWE of this:thumbup: http://www.infotecbusinesssystems.com/wildlife/ THESE BABY EABLES HAVE THEIR OWN WEBCAM...Mom is feeding them AS I TYPE THIS ! (something dead and yukky but they're loving it) and it has sound too - so watch your yorkies - they may go NUTS The camera was down for the egg hatching but they are newborn Bald Eagles - 2 of them with mom and dad .....You can see the mom up close and she is STUNNING !! This is sooooooooooooooooooo awesome ! As we know - they are an endangered species and this guy got a webcam up in a tree with a huge crane - you can read about it on the site ...this is just WAY COOL ! You can watch them 24/7 and see them grow up ! If not much is happening - check back often - I only had to wait 4 minutes to see MOM |
Villette, you are right. It is absolutely fascinating. Thanks for posting it. I am going to send this link to my parents who are avid birdwatchers.   |
I'm not a birdwatcher and it's sooooo awesome - as I was watchin the 2 babies just laying there this BIG MAMA flew down with this dead animal and just began feeding them - For this particular bird - this is just amazing to see up close. There's more information on the site - they had 2 other eggs they were watching and they never hatched - so this is a big deal Tell your parents they have a discussion board - much like this board if you read down to the info....here's the link where the guy talks about the Eagles and how hard it was to get that webcam up http://forum.infotecbsi.com/ |
The mom or dad feeding them is MAJESTIC ! I really LOVE eagles - my first tattoo was a beautiful Bald Eagle on my hip :D I think they're eating Bailey's bunny wabbit right now....maybe next time he catches one - he can share ? |
omg that is so cool! i have to send this to my friends |

this is what they guy said about THIS nest in Germany .... somewhere in Germany is dark at night, this is not an eaglesnest but a so called "störchennest" with 5 eggs and...when everything is okay there will be young birds end of may |
AHA ! I wondered how they were eating so much - they actually STORE the food - I just read this : The food is stored in the crop, the area below their neck. Both are well fed, likely the smaller one hatched last and is male |

We used to watch (try to watch) these webcams in Africa of animal watering holes...never saw any animals....just dark....took awhile to realize Africa is in a different time zone than Virginia  |
How cool is that?! Amazing,, I need to do that with the nest I got outside, of course it's not eagles... |

I'm NEVER gonna live that one down :D this is an awesome video - It has great quality and it's RIGHT in the nest - totally cool isn't it ? RATS - they're done eating - whats nice is you can check on these Eagles ANYTIME ANYDAY...I just read they'll Widen the Cam shots as the birds grow - how cool is this ? |

too bad the Eagle mom and dad don't have a Bailey to hunt for them...he could keep them in constant supply of Bunny Wabbits - and they could spend time hanging out with the Eaglets |

I tried to run interference ...but that's nature. IF I HAD A CAMERA in my hand - I would have tried to catch her jumping but I was trying to save the birdy. Nature is totally awesome...sad sometimes but awesome. |

Aww, caught 'cha baby bird ;) I have kitty hunters...kitty hunters do NOT drop baby birds immediately. They do however leave them on your porch. ;) Ramsey is my official canadian goose chaser. Ramsey would like everyone to know...chasing canadian geese with baby geese is NOT a good idea...it p-ss'es off their moms. |

V, you turned me into a bird watcher!!!!!!! I wonder if he set up lights for night time.:D :D :D :D |
Where I grew up in Nova Scotia, there were (still are) many, many families of bald eagles. (They've been taking them from this area for years and transporting them to the U.S.) We had a nest very near our house (it was gigantic), but sadly it blew down in a storm. The birds mate for life, which is so beautiful. When we'd go ice fishing in the winter, we'd leave some fish on the ice for them and they'd come and get them. It was amazing how close to us they came sometimes. Some had 12 foot wingspans...very intimidating birds! Thanks for sharing the webcam! It's fascinating! |
