Which camera would you get? Just looking for a pocket camera.. something that takes good pics but I can put in my pocket... does anyone have any experience with any of these? http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/oid/...oductDetail.do or http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/oid/...oductDetail.do |
1 Attachment(s) I have a sony, which I don't like ..... so I bought a Kodac EasyShare V530 and I love it, absolutely love it. I am sure there are cameras out there that take better pictures, but for me, this one works well..... here is an action shot of one of our foals that was taken inside the barn with low light and no flash |
I only buy Canons. If limited to your two choices, I would get the Sony, but I'd buy it on Amazon so you don't have to pay tax. You can get a much better camera with the same features and size for that price. JMO. Check out Nikon, too. They're excellent :) |

huh?????? I only see it at $127?????? ... so you say this one over the sony cybershot right? Have you seen this one in person?>>> |
Try Best Buy Best Buy has a great deal going on right now – www.bestbuy.com. Buy one of their selected cameras (I recommend the Canon Powershot) and you get a 256MB memory card for free. They have a good variety of cameras at different price points and the card is a $30 value – much better than the measly 16MB cards that come with most digital cameras. You can order online and have it shipped or pick it up at your local store if you have one nearby. I just did this and it was a great deal IMHO. |

Oh sorry! I added it to my cart and it automatically subtracted 30 dollars since I have an Amazon.com credit card. I didnt even realize it. I thought it was 30 dollars off for everyone. I don't like Sony cams at all, but someone else might give you a different review. They look cute on the outside, but they compromise quality IMO |
1 Attachment(s) I've had a Minolta D460Zoom which took great pics but was only 1 mega pixel and too big to fit in a pocket. I currently have a Sony DSC-P72 which I think is a great camera it is 3.2 mega pixel and also takes .mpg video with sound, which is a nice bonus. I think it takes great pictures and I have no complaints about it, its still not quite pocket sized though, I have seen some really small cameras but don't have any experience with them, sorry. You can usually find some pretty good deals on ebay. |
I have the Sony 5.0, but I'm going to upgrade to the new one they have out now. I think it's 8.0. I really like my Sony, it's easy to use.:) :) :) |
If I was to go the sony route I was thinking about this one.. what do you sony owners think? My question is how is the pic quality???? http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/oid/...oductDetail.do |

One note- I've dropped it a couple times and it still works fine. I dropped my minolta once and it broke, hence the reason I now have the Sony. I really should learn to use the wrist strap eh? |
