PHOBIAS! Got any? I guess my biggest phobia is SPIDERS! I can't watch them on t.v. or even look at a picture of them. I see those unnatural creatures and feel the color drain from my face! They're disgusting...those long 8 legs! BLAH!!!!!!!!!!!:confuse8: I also have a fear of heights. Get dizzy, light headed...good Lord. If I'm above 2 stories, I can't look out over the ledge. I don't know how those people do it!:fainted: Anything that can bite, sting or eat me, I'm afraid of. :bee: -- FORGET IT! I'm running and screaming to get away! What about you guys??? HEIGHTS FOR REAL...The last Concert I went to we were up in the nosebleed section and I had 4" heels on - NEVER AGAIN. I was so lightheaded and woosey I thought I was gonna take the short quick way down those long long stairs. I also cannot ride in Glass Elevators. I'll do anything to avoid them. bugs and spiders don't bother me - but those HUGE Texas Tree Roaches sure do. |

crazy I know You guys might think im weird but this really is a real phobia for me,public toilets! im always anxious when I go in If Im the only one in there that someone could come in and attack me or rob me and there is no escape door because here most of our public toilets only have 1 door in and the same one out.Or there could be someone waiting in another toilet.I avoid them now at all costs. |

worms For some reason just the thoughts of worms being in my dogs makes me freak out. I guess that is why I do stool checks from time to time. Earth worms are okay..infact after it rains I will pick them up off the driveway and put them back in the soil...good for it...but if I thought a slimy worm was crawling through Kate or Emee's intestines I would be seriously freaking out...and do not even mention human worms!!!! My youngest kid got pin worms the first year of school, just about the whole class got them...Jodi came home from the doctor and annouced proudly, " I have worms"...her sister refused to get near her for days. |

Snakes, Cockroaches <gack!> , Grasshoppers (don't know why, they just creep me out, K?) and, since 2003 when my daughter almost died of staff ,I am painfully aware of germs in public places. Rule of my house is: "WASH YOUR HANDS!" |

I can deal with bugs, snakes, heights, spiders, all of that! I have a HUGE phobia of the cold. I start to panic if I begin to get cold or if I think Simon and Hallie might be cold. It's crazy. How did I live in Alaska for 20+ years? It all explains why I have a zillion blankets, coats, gloves, scarves, any cold weather gear you could imagine. I have a fear of mice too (that's new since there aren't any in AK and I just discovered them in NY) ewwwwwwwwwwww |

Living in the country we have bugs, worms, snakes, and other wild animals, but I don't have a phobia about them. I don't like to be surprised by snakes. I don't like to have them show up when I'm not expecting them. Otherwise, they don't bother me. One of my biggest worries is about the weather, especially this time of year, with all of the tornadoes. We live about 7 miles from town and we cannot hear the sirens when they go off. We have to depend on the internet to warn us. However, about 3 years ago we had a tornado about 3/4 mile from the house and our phone rang off the hook with everyone letting us know that there was a tornado by our house. We were standing in front of the garage....with a portable phone..... watching it. (It didn't do any damage and soon dissappeared.) I don't have a phobia about it, it's just a worry. |
