:2omg: :2omg: OMG THAT WOULD SCARE ME |
I don't get scared. If you asked me if I would before any of this started happening I would have said I would be very scared. But this is very comfortable and I wish I could believe it is Sebastian so I could talk to him. I'm closer to believing than I ever have been but my upbringing didn't include ghosts! I've never had any other experiences other than hearing my cat purring in my ear for a few weeks after we had to put her down. I always thought that was just wishful thinking on a very sad child's part. And......since I've had so many dogs in my life why haven't I experienced this with the others? Lou |
I do believe We Had a beloved german shepherd a few years ago who was really my sons companion anyway he got diagnosed with cancer and the vet said when she operated she would see how bad the cancer was and if it was real bad wouldnt let him wake up so my son and family all had a chance to say goodbye and tell him how much we loved him and to thank him for all the wonderful years he gave us,but sadly it was bad and my son had to go and pick his body up.It was the saddest thing to see my son get his body out of the car and bury him.We all had a funeral for him including the other animals and it was a very sad day for us,the next week we had some friends over and we were telling them about him and they thought we were joking because they said they just saw him walk past the door,we even looked out side because they insisted he did,so I felt he was still with us. |

I love Ghost Stories ...one of the coolest ones I've seen on tv lately is on the Discovery Channel ...I think it's called A HAUNTING - and they re-enact all the stories - they are so cool ! |
I want to see it to! My gosh, your stories made me cry! I'm such a believer in after life, I love reading paranormal stories and watching them on tv, I have never witnessed anything like this and I'm not sure if I would want to, it may really freak me out! LOL But I still love hearing about it! |
Sebastian and Susie were both very special to me specifically as opposed to being a family pet. I imagine the Sebastian was just plain grateful for being rescued and having someone to communicate with. Susie (my childhood cat) was my first pet and she adopted me instead of the other way around. (I was 5 and my brother brought her home asking if he could keep her. But she latched on to me right away so he gave her up. We slept together with her nose pointed into my ear and she would purr me to sleep. Long ago before I knew how valuable spaying was she would have kittens every year but refused to give birth unless I was right there beside her. She would wait if I was in school and would have them beside my head on the pillow if I was asleep. So yes I guess there was a special connection with them. I don't think Sebastian is around all the time though, if it is him. These things have been happening a bit more frequently lately. (Ever since I decided to buy a Yorkie?) Hmmm. Lou |
I definitely believe that they come back to visit. When my 15 year old Peke died, for almost 10 days my big siamese would be sitting in my lap in the living room, and then all of a sudden he'd stand up with all the ears and tail at attention and he'd hop down and very slowly start walking and sniffing toward the spot where her bed always was! Then, he'd sniff some more, turn around and Rorw gently to me, and come back. She was there, in her usual spot I'm sure, just checking on us. We both missed her so much. I'm glad she'd visit. I'd talk to her and tell her we loved her missed her but would see her soon. It makes me cry still to think of it, but it was a good feeling too. She finally went over, and no more visits. |
I promise that I will post the video as soon as I can. My bf is out of town and he is the computer literate one. I have had this video on my phone for months.;) |
I think they are always around I think animals see things that we dont, i do think that there is something....My Mum died of Cancer 5 years ago, and i we had a Yorkie called Saphron..she was my dog, but when my mum took ill, she would not leave her side...Saphron just knew that there was something going on... My Mum was in and out of hospital, and she always said that she wanted to die and home...after 11 days in the hospital the Doctor let my Mum come home, to respect her wish and to die here... If waiting for my mum to die was not hard enough...i had to control this lovely little dog...that went nuts...she knew my mum was dying...she would yelp..which was something that she never did before...she started to bite...she just wanted to lie next to my mum, at one point i banned her out of the room cause she was that bad...about ten mins before my mum died..saph went under the bed, took my mums dressing gown and started to dig, as if she was digging a hole in it....when my mum died, saph came out, calm...it was all very strange....then a few months later, saph died, she just wanted to be with my mum... I think that they see things that we dont see anyway....i think that dogs understand us more than what we think they do...like if you are ill, how does the dog know? they just do....maybe we have so much to learn from them... I have never felt saph...but i know for sure that she would come and see me...just because i dont see her....does not mean she dont come....same as my mum....:aimeeyork |

I can relate a little bit, I work in private elderly care and about 2 1/2 months ago we lost mary to cancer, she had been non responsive all day, all the family was here with us and about 9pm are cat Toni that was very close to Mary came in and got on the bed with Mary and just laid there, at 9:30 Mary took a breath, then smiled the biggest smile, and then took her last breath, it was the most amazing death I have ever witnessed and after she was gone, the cat jumped down. So I definitely think animals know more then what we think. |

Everyones stories are amazing... |
This is Sebastian 2 Attachment(s) I thought you might like to see photos of the dog I am talking about. The first picture was taken a week after we got him. I had taken him to the vet to get his head taken care of along with other wounds to numerous to mention. He weighed 40lbs. The second photo was taken 2 months later after he had had some decent meals. He weightd about 75lbs. He eventuallly got up to 90lbs because he was a big collie but you'd never know if by looking at the first picture huh. So that is Sebastian, our much beloved gentle giant. May he rest in peace. I've never had a doggy ghost. My sister, however, swears that her deceased cat visits regularly and snuggles up to her in bed! |
