Does the company take a cut of the money? If so, I'd honestly say that I think you'd be better doing your own marketing/company so that you can keep all the money you make from your hard work. It wouldn't be difficult to get your own started since there isn't much overhead besides advertising. :) Just a thought

Nope, it's all mine. I would start the company, get my own supplies, do all the work, and collect all the money. The PSI folks merely provide education, networking opportunities, documents, and discounts on services such as bonding, medical and dental insurance, and equipment and supplies. All for fees of course! But it is handy to have the resource if I find I need it. I think with all the research I am doing right now, I can probably pull it together initially without their help. Once the business grows, I may need some support they may be able to provide.

My best friend has her own pet sitting service. She works at a kennel and many of her clients get into contact with her through that. She mainly pet sits for them when they go on overnight/weekend type trips..shes fairly close to most of the families now and half of the time shell stay the whole weekend over there just playing with the dogs cause she enjoys it so much. If you want, I can get you in to contact with her..just PM me..

;) Glad this looks so wonderful! Of course you would be perfect for this kind of job and who wouldn't love working with animals all day long? Good luck in whatever you diecide to do here! :thumbup:

That sounds like a job made in heaven. Just think...working all day for "folks" that in their eyes, you can do no wrong!!! What a rewarding job that would be! Go for it girl. You may inspire more of us to do the same thing!!!

I will call my cousin and find out what she charges. Rita is a vets assistant and ended up doing it because a lot of clients loved her and needed help with going away or needing someone to administer meds to their doggies/cats. I know Rita told me that it keeps her busy and she makes super good money at it.

I think it's a great idea on how to work at something you enjoy and make money.

As someone said previously, you'll need marketing ideas. My friend, I'll help you with that! No charge either! :p I'm in advertising/marketing.
