3. Did you have a specific problem/question for which you were looking for an answer? Mac and Mellie were getting fixed and I was so scared.
4. How old was your Yorkie when you first found/joined YT? Mac was 11 months Mellie was 7 months
5. How long have you been an Yorkie owner? almost 2 years.
6. Did you know right away that you would be addicted to this site?I loved reading the posts but was nervous to post everyone else seemed so knowledgable and I felt that I really didn't know enough to post.
7. Did you make fun of members who had thousands of posts without realizing that you'd eventually be one of them? No, it's amazing how people who joined around same time as me have thousand more. Wait until I get DSL at home in 2 weeks then watch out.
8. Have you met any YT member in real life? If so, who? Hopefully if it doesn't rain this weekend I will meet Teri and Megan and whoever is going to Tuckers party. There are so many people on here I would love to meet.
9. Have you spoken to anyone on the phone? Who?Not yet, but hopefully someday.

1.What was your first impression of YT? Well, I like you guys too much now to tell you what my first impression was. I thought it was a great site, with tons of good information, but I was a little scared of y'all at first! that was before I realized that yorkies aren't dogs!

2. Who was the first person that *really* reached out to welcome you, whether it be PM or some other way that you remember? Ha, ha, ha. It was actually SoCal Yorkie!!!!! Bandit had liver shunt, and she was the one who pm'd me and said get him to the vet asap.

3. Did you have a specific problem/question for which you were looking for an answer? At first, I just wanted to learn about yorkies in general since Bandit was my first one.

4. How old was your Yorkie when you first found/joined YT? 10 weeks

5. How long have you been an Yorkie owner? 1 year and 2 weeks. (Minus a month between yorkies)

6. Did you know right away that you would be addicted to this site? No, it took me at least a week!

7. Did you make fun of members who had thousands of posts without realizing that you'd eventually be one of them? No, I didn't make fun of them, but I could not understand how anyone could have that many posts. Huh, then my daughter got on the site, and left me in her dust.

8. Have you met any YT member in real life? If so, who? Sherry Lynn!!!!

9. Have you spoken to anyone on the phone? Who? Joan, Crystal's mom called Megan for her birthday. I got to say hello and "it's for you". She didn't tell me who it was until after she hung up!

I dont really remember but, RachelFraim was really nice and she was the person I had for my gift exchange too. I use to talk to a lot of people in Chat like Kristy and Fasteddie (unfortuanlty I am really busy and dont get on there anymore)

4. How old was your Yorkie when you first found/joined YT? I didnt have one yet. I was trying to find breeders and info on them before I commited to buying one for myself(my mom and I use to have one together).
5. How long have you been an Yorkie owner? Since April 30th 2005, when I brought my Cosmo home :D .
6. Did you know right away that you would be addicted to this site? Yes, there were soo many pictures of cute yorkies who could not sit around and look at them all day, haha.

8. Have you met any YT member in real life? If so, who? Yes I have. I have met yorkieusa (I have been to her house a few times), lucky's mom (when I go back home we meet up), ytsirk27 (I got my brothers lab from her, she recoomened me to a breeder laura and that is where I got Astro), bosslady(meet at yorkie meetup), dianab(meet at yorkie meetup), ehuser, and heatherw, I think that is it. I can't think right now.
9. Have you spoken to anyone on the phone? Who? Yes emily (ehuser) we talk alot know and visit each other alot and are planning on going camping this summer and heatherW she is now my next door neighbor :p .

1. What was your first impression of YT? I was amazed by how many yorkie owners there are and how much information there was on the site...and there are times where I am still in awe!!
2. Who was the first person that *really* reached out to welcome you, whether it be PM or some other way that you remember? Althought she is no longer on here...I would have to say Gypse Rose, she was so helpful with Magic's stomach problems and we talked through PMs all the time and have even exchanged pictures and notes through the mail. I really miss her....
3. Did you have a specific problem/question for which you were looking for an answer? We knew very little about yorkies and we met ldenise one day and she told us all about it and how much information there was...plus Magic has a lot of stomach problems
4. How old was your Yorkie when you first found/joined YT? Magic was 4 months and we didn't have Sailor yet
5. How long have you been an Yorkie owner? Well Magic is now a 19 months, so.....I guess 19 months
6. Did you know right away that you would be addicted to this site? not right away....but not a month later I was hooked and have remained that way to this day

Did you make fun of members who had thousands of posts without realizing that you'd eventually be one of them? yes and no....at first I didn't think that much about it, but then once I realized how many people had tons of post I was so shocked that people had that much to say....and now I am one of them!! LOL
8. Have you met any YT member in real life? If so, who? wow, yes I have...we had a Dallas meetup last December...we met Shanatink, Muffin's Mom (no longer here), and a couple of others that are no longer on here....but we would LOVE to meet other and hope to one day

I'm 1 &1/2 months shy of a year but I want to play,,,,,

1. What was your first impression of YT?
To see others with the same likes, loves and passions when it came to family and our yorkies.

2. Who was the first person that *really* reached out to welcome you, whether it be PM or some other way that you remember?
This goes out to 3 members,,

My very fist PM was from Val of Passionfruition. She was very helpful on sending me some information on a carrier I was thinking about purchasing.

The most memorable PM was from Sylvia, of Lady of Yorkies. I will remember this always! She made me feel so welcomed and gave me some much needed advise about my niece Cherish. It was very heartwarming.

And lastly, of course Villette. She has always been there for me with help problems with computer related stuff and all but I once received a PM that made me feel so thankful that I was surrounded by such caring and loving people. I won't go into detail here but it made me feel so good to see that she is watching my back.

Yes, lots of times.

Gus was 14 months.

The only person I met in person was the wonderful ladies I got Gus from. But I met them way before becoming a member on there. There are so many I would love to meet in person!

I had the pleasure of talking to Scrapindee. We were trying to get together for a playdate that we seem to be having trouble doing thus far. Every month we get rained out. I feel May will be the month! LOL
