| ![]() Some of you may think I'm crazy asking this, but all I need to do is go out in the wind and my hair blows and parts differently than I've got it combed and it will hurt for the rest of the day. It is not actually my hair, I suppose, but my scalp and it gets so tender and sore. Tonight it was hurting so bad I thought I'd wash my hair in the sink and massage it and blast it with water from the sprayer. I couldn't do that...it hurt too bad. I did a search on the net and found there are others with this same problem. Crazy. Can any of you relate? It is not always the same spot...last week my left side...this week, more on the right. There is not any redness or anything that I can see...it just plain hurts.

| ![]() You? Crazy? NEVER! ![]() Actually, when I first read the title I thought "what could she possibly be talking about?" BUT, now that you mention it... yes!!!!! That has happened to me before. Sometimes I think my hair parts in an unnatural place when I'm sleeping and then the next day it feels strange. I wouldn't say it is a pain, but more like an uncomfortable sensation. I wonder if there is anything you can do about it? Maybe you can hire some hot, young stud to give you a scalp massage? Just a thought ![]()

| ![]() Me too! Especially when I pull my hair in a higher ponytail for a period of time, ouch, it hurts for days after I let it back down, even if I shower several times! Is your hair thick? Maybe it's a weight-of-hair thing. Who knows. I cut 12 inches (and donated it) last May and it really, really helped. But now my hair is long again (just not quite as long as it was before the big chop) so I'm considering cutting off another foot. Last year's donation brought my hair to my shoulders (right below) but this year if I cut another foot off it will be at my chin! Yikes, that's gonna be short!!!

| ![]() hmmmm, my hair does'nt hurt, but if I get stressed it falls out. I can run my fingers down my hair and 30 strands at a time will come out. I went to the doctor they ran lots of tests, and then said it was from stress. It started when my Father passed away, when my Mom passed I was almost bald. So, I try to keep away form stress, or I'll be shopping for wigs ![]()

| ![]() Yes I thought I was the only person this happened to so I never said anything. I find after having it up for any extended period of time it gets very sore. Hmmm I wonder what causes this?

| ![]() If I wear mine up in a pony tail or in a jaw clip, mine hurts. It is crazy but true. I think it has something to do going against the grain, so to speak!

| ![]() yes it is I,, the big haired woman. And yes I do know what you mean. I'm getting to the point where I am ready to chop it off. But when it comes dwon to it, I just can't do it! My hair is so heavy I have chop sticks, pens, pencils all over the house because I'm contently putting it up and down all day long. Either it bugs to keep it down and it hurts to keep it up.
