I got this idea to have post of any nice places near where we live to share could be a state park ..backyard ..anything you like ..here is a few from me to get this started , The first three pictures are the hudson river out of my window from where i live it is the sunrise ..the 4th is Peirmont NY its the pier area near the hudson river ,not far from me where Mini and i walk.

I only have nature shots I took in my yard.....but those are really pretty ....

here are mine...Spy-Girl Turf, Houston TX USA

1. Chanel surveying her estate (the backyard)
2. The baby Birds that Chanel and Cheri thought were squeaky toys
3. The Mommy Bird who wasn't crazy about the girls around her babies
4. The Cardinal who scored Sunflower seeds

Those are some beautiful pics guys! OK...here are mine.

1 - Crab Apple Tree blooming in my yard
2 - My cat Rocky at his fav fast food restaurant :eek:
3 - My son fly fishing at Blue Water Creek near our home

Our dogwoods were beautiful but the hail storm we had last Friday almost ruined them. And now today, we are in for some serious weather again.

1. A cardinal in the bushes at our home in Illinois a couple winters ago.
2. The birds at Daytona Beach, Florida.
3. A banana tree at Silver Springs, Florida.
4. A patient Pelican at the Sponge Docks in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

Yes, I like nature shots and most of them include animals :)

Rocky is the most unusual cat I have ever had. He thinks he is a dog...he is not afraid of dogs...he will follow you around just like a dog...he is a nut. We have him and his mother and they love each other so much. When we saw him on that birdhouse, I just about fell out of the car. We were leaving and I made my hubby get out his camera and get a pic of him...he was so happy up there. I don't like him to kill birds, but he IS a cat...that is what they do!

Those are awesome ..i never have seen a banana tree before ..its beautiful .

Thanks! I took that banana tree picture at night and wasn't sure it would turn out but I was really glad when it did. I have a ton more from Florida...there's so much to photograph down here.

Our backyard isn't very exciting, so I'll show you pictures of my cousin's farm instead! :p

All of your pictures are just so beautiful!!!!!!!

here's mine- my favorite place that I have lived so far in my life-Seattle and Mt. Ranier, then a Glacier in Alaska, Hawaii and last Cherry Blossoms in South Korea-

Those are wonderful pictures I hope you dont think its about what i see in my back yard because I know beauty is all around us all ..thats why i wanted to share and start this thread ..I love seeing pictures of any kind but since we are all from differant places and have been differant places this would be a fun thing to share here ..thanks :thumbup:

Shana i wish i could go on a vacation ...here is my rainbow tho ..enjoy and a picture of some flowers that are blooming in my front yard ..

Sure :p . That rainbow was the neatest one I have ever seen. We were on our cruise ship and it started as you see it in that picture but then over the course of 20 minutes it went completely over the boat. Ive never seen 180 degrees of a rainbow before that day(or since). It actually looked like 220 degrees becasue it reflected into the ocean. Ive put 4 pictures together to show how the rainbow made a full arch (thats me looking over the railing :p)

Oh Shana that is amazing. What a beautiful thing to have seen. Wow, I love it so much! Thank you so much for putting them together like that. I am going to do something special with that! Oh thank you again. I've seen 4 or 5 in my life and they seem like miracles to me. They remind me of God's promise.
