3 Attachment(s) Our favorite place in the world is by the Conejos river in southern Colorado so here are a few pixs: our trailer by the river, a beautiful rainbow picture I took out of the trailer window, and a mountain meadow |
3 Attachment(s) Many of you know that my husband has a very serious heart condition and so we are trying to visit some places he has always wanted to see - last summer we went to Alaska - we took some stunning pictures - here are a few: icebergs, emerald lake and the most beautiful lake/mountain view I have ever seen |
4 Attachment(s) Ok, so if you all want to see some trash in an alley I will post picks of the view from my house, but now I will post pics from where I would rather live!! |

ohh rowdy's mom- that second picture looks like the northern lights in the reflection on the lake. I got to see the northern lights one time when living in Seattle area. Something you will never forget. Your pictures are all absolutely beautiful. |

1 Attachment(s) Just remembered ... I have lots of great scenery shots from our rambling around the country ... just gotta find them! :p Found our "Chattanooga Squirrel" in my computer ... this little guy was almost a "pet"! It was hot, hot summer and beyond our patio, there was a stream with lots of trees and wildlife. This little squirrel began coming and peering in the patio door at us! I naturally began leaving him water, corn, etc. and next thing we knew, he would be out there stretched flat out on the cool floor!! There were also a bzillion hummingbirds ... and we, of course, had lots of feeders for them too! ;) |

I've never seen the northern lights, but I would LOVE to!!! The lake in the second picture was so stunningly beautiful - the pix really doesn't do it justice. I can't imagine how beautiful the northern lights would be!!! |
2 Attachment(s) This was taken Saturday morning after the bad storms here Friday night...it was so pretty. I took Oscar out to potty and saw it...hubby got the camera and snapped a pic for me so I could share. I posted it on the Storm thread earlier. The second pic is of our goats, Jack and Cookie. Jack has always climbed that tree and even sleeps in it. We got Cookie just two days ago and Jack has already taught her to climb the tree...LOL...crazy goats!!! |
1 Attachment(s) Here's a pic from my garden.... I love it when the flowers are in bloom!!! |
4 Attachment(s) I really like this thread. You all take some really nice pictures. the pictures of the flowers reminded me of some that I took last year in our neighbors yard. They have this strange looking thing that looks like a giant christmas cactus. It meanders up the tree in their front yard. It only blooms a couple times a year and only blooms at night. I took the shots at night and got up early the next morning to try and get the last of the blooms before they died off. thank you for starting this thread. |
