Needing the Power of Prayer
 
I am really trying to hold myself together here. But I need everyone's Prayers for my family... It involves two of my family members my daughter and my unborn grandchild.

Katie was hospitalized yesterday with a abnormal blood vessel in her brain. They do not feel that it is a aneurysm. Do to the fact that she is pregnant they are very limited on what test they can run. Neurologist are looking at what tests they have been able to run and now are all consulting with additional specialists.. I truly hope that is nothing but a formality at this time.

I am waiting now for the doctors to give me a call to discuss some of the family history. It could be several days before we know something. So I would really appreciate all of your prayers... Thank you.

Oh Sue, you certainly have my Prayers coming your way. I will Pray for Katie and her baby. I Pray that they both make it through this difficult time. Just remember to take a breath and thank God something was noticed early on, because it could still be fixable. Hugs to you

Sue...You have my prayers NOW....You must be worried sick... but she's in the best place she can be.... and with all the medical knowlege....they can find out what's going on while taking good care of that tiny little baby growing.....

I'm going to think positive thoughts for you and pray for your daughter...and her mom too....you hang in there ok Grandma ? Big hugs to you Sue....she'll be just fine I bet.

Thank you everyone...This is extremely hard for me playing the waiting game. Still waiting for the neuro surgeon to call me. He has spoke with my daughter and she doesn't understand medical terminology and is totally freaking out.. Which can't be good for her or the baby.. :( .

I can only keep reassuring her that if this is life threating they would be taking action for her and the the baby. I have to be strong for her which this is MY baby and as a mother/grandmother I can't help but worry about my little loved ones.

As soon as I know more I will keep everyone posted..

Sue, You, your Katie and your unborn grandchild are in my prayers right this minute...I am praying even now! Please know that God is in control of every situation and He is holding Katie and the baby in His hands. Please find comfort in that. I pray that the time you are waiting for a diagnosis will fly by and that the news will be good and that whatever is wrong can easily be remedied. I pray that the Dr.'s are men and women of God and that He will guide them in the diagnosis and cure. I pray for peace of mind for you in this time of not knowing...be strong.

Sue, take solace in the fact that they are going slow.
 
If things are proceeding at this pace, I feel it is not an emergency situation. I am hopeful that it is not very serious and can be dealt with with medication and rest.

Everyone is correct when they say that Katie is exactly where she needs to be right now, and it sounds as though she is getting great care. But don't feel bad about calling her doctor yourself if you don't hear from him soon.

Sue, My thoughts and prayers are with you and Katie and your Grandchild. Positive thoughts are being sent to you and prayers from all of us here. It never ceases to amaze me how powerful are the thoughts and prayers of a group such as we have here on YT. Tell Katie to relax and try to rest, that we are all thinking of her and the baby and are all trying to do her worrying for her, so she doesn't have to. (It probably won't do any good to tell her not to worry, but try to tell her anyway.)

As a mother and grandmother, I can certainly understand what you must be going through. My thoughts and prayers are with your daughter and grandbaby, and of course, you. Please keep us posted. I'm sure she's in good hands.
