Rented any good movies lately?
 
Since being home ALOT lately, I have watched some good movies.
Crash - Very good, highly recommend it, probably why it won all the awards
Walk The Line - good movie, good story
The one with Ashton Kutcher he meets his girlfriends family? Can't remember the name- it was Ok
The New AmityVille Horror movie- good, some good scary parts in it.

Any other good rental reviews?

Crash - GREAT movie!! :D :D

Want to see both the others - didn't have Amityville Horror in when we went!!! :mad:

I like to rent older movies. There are very few new ones that I think are any good! I haven't seen any of those though. A couple of older ones that will kill you, they are so funny: Kiss Me Goodbye with James Cann and Foul Play with Chevy Chase. Both are two of my favorites of all time.

Just watched Walk the Line, Prime and In her shoes all very good. My dtr is going to get Elizabethtown tonight to watch.

Yes, In Her Shoes, was another one I watched, it was good, chic movie but good.

We watched Two for the Money last week. If nothing else ya gotta like it cause Matthew Mccanahay (however you spell it...I just call him Matt ;) ) is in it and boy does he look good. He wouldn't even have to say anything...just stand on that big screen and let me look at 'cha :D I wouldn't mind if he felt like taking his clothes off either :rolleyes:

and FYI, my mom brought me some OLD magazines, ( it's the thought) and one was the people with him as Sexiest Man Alive on the cover,, YOWZA.
So the correct spelling is ( and now I know why I always got it wrong)

1) Crash (borrowed)- very good
2) Into The Blue-very good
3) The Amityville Horror- very good
4) Exorcism of Emily Rose- very good
5) The Ring Two- very good
6) Constantine- good
7) The Wedding Crashers- very good
8) Hustle N Flow (borrowed)- very good
lol I can go on and on I am a movie watcher. But these are just a few.

Cause we hate Ashton Kutcher.... :rolleyes: Not really, he was okay in the butterfly effect.....I'm still not a big fan.

Friend's daughter goes to an acting school in Michigan (think like that Fame school)....any way she went to school with Rumor Willis. Guess who came to parent's weekend? Oh yea, Demi, Ashton, and ol' Bruce. Her mom told me that Bruce was very down to earth, normal, acted like just another parent. Demi on the other had had the whole entourage....I asked her what did her personal assistant do while she was there....jot down notes on assignments? :rolleyes: Btw, she said her daughter was always using Rumor's printer...cause Rumor never ever ran outta ink ;)

My favorite two recomendations are "Walk the line", and "Just like Heaven". These two have to be my new favorites!! I just went and bought them both!

I actually just got finished watching Dreamer with Dakota Fanning and it was AWESOME!! Just a great movie that makes you feel all warm and happy inside. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

I dont get out of the house much and so we rent and buy ALOT of movies. Heres a list of some of my favorite movies on dvd from the past few months:

Wedding Crashers!!! LOVE THIS MOVIE!
In her shoes
Just like Heaven (love this movie!!)
Dreamer
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Into the Blue
Crash
After the sunset
Flight Plan
Fever Pitch
King Arthur
Kingdon of Heaven
Elizabethtown
Waiting (this is actually pretty funny especially if you have ever waited tables ;) )

I do not recommend the following:

Weather Man(we quit watching it half way thru the movie because its just a depressing boring movie)
Derailed (just a bad movie- didnt finish it)
Domino (not impressed with this movie)
The Man (not funny or entertaining)


I still really need to see Walk the Line, I am renting it tommorrow. Kong comes out Tuesday and so does something else good I just cant think of the name right now :rolleyes:

I LOVE Walk the Line, boy can Reese Witherspoon sing huh! Gosh I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE that movie, it's along my #1 rank with REMEMBER THE TITANS!!

I love both two, isn't Reese just the best, and anything with Mark Ruffalo is gonna be good, well except the one w/ Jennifer Aniston that was ok but still gotta love her...(Rumor has it) :)

Love that one too!! Gosh I see too many movies, OH Glory Road is so AWESOME!!! :D

Memoirs of a Geisha , that one comes out too on Tuesday! I want to see that, Oh PRIDE & PREJUDICE is good too....don't watch A History of VIolence, pointless movie, plus I have never seen so many nude scenes(rEALLY graphic) ever!! :eek:

AWWW I love Jennifer Aniston, she is sooooo good, still can't picture out of her Friends role though.........

I think her Friend's role is the same one they've cast her in every movie since. I pretty much think that of the whole Friend's cast....except maybe Ross. Although when I see him in anything...I think...oh look, there's Ross ;)

We just rented Just like Heaven, I thought was very good.
War of the Worlds was good to me, although I hear some like it and some don't.
Yours, Mine and Ours was dumb. And Just Friends was too.
Also Jar Head was a depressing movie. My husband fell asleep during it.

We had a snowy weekend last weekend and we watched all these.

If you are going to the movies, Failure to Launch was good. It has Matt Mccaunahay (SP) in it!!

I watched 'Crash' last night i'm afraid to say i thought it was rubbish!!!
Also watched 'Brokeback Moutain' few weeks ago thought that was rubbish too.
Best one i've seen for a while was '40 year old virgin' was hilarious
