Since I don't have an avatar (can't get mine sized small enough), maybe I could use V's? But then I'd be adding to the insanity and like Deb, I wasn't in on the secret but sure as heck am enjoying the laughs!!!!!

Yes you can use V's thats what I did! Just right click it, click on save as, then hit ok. Then go to your user cp, then change avatar, then click browse find it and then you will be in the Mike club too!
