List your most memorable live concerts I was gonna ask people to list ALL the concerts they've been to, but my memory got real fuzzy real fast. Hey, it was the 70s. What can I say? So how about listing 10 memorable concerts you've seen live. Here's mine: 1. Tower of Power and Santana at Winterland in San Francisco, my first concert, high school junior. 2. Allman Brothers and Marshall Tucker, Oakland Coliseum. 3. Led Zeppelin, outdoors in S.F. somewhere. 4. Elton John, Oakland. 5. Fleetwood Mac, San Jose 6. George Harrison/Ravi Shankar, Oakland 7. Edgar Winter, Oakland 8. Peter Frampton, Oakland, outdoors 9. Yes 10. Emerson, Lake & Palmer Ha, you wouldn't know I've been a country fan for the last 30 years. |

Johnson City, TN 38 Special - absolutely loved it, Johnson City, TN Beach Boys - Atlanta Fulton County Stadium(Now Turner Stadium) loved it Charlie Daniels Band - Free Concert in Snellville(Snellville Days) loved it |
My most favorite concert of all time is any performed by Jimmy Buffett (yes, I am a parrothead!). Have seen him too many times to count. My least favorite (and the reason I no longer like her): Stevie Nicks!!! She performed in Jackson quite a few years back, had Joe Walsh as her opener (he was well worth the cost of the ticket!!). She came out on stage, sang 2 songs, then went into her dressing room that was set up on stage. After a few minutes, she came out in a new outfit, sang 3 songs then back to the dressing room she went. This went on for the hour she was on stage - changed outfits about 6 times!! She probably only spent a total of 30 minutes on stage (it may have been even less than that). When she left the stage for the night, we got up and left, not caring if she came back out for an encore. Found out from friends the next day that those who stayed behind spent 30 minutes trying to get her to come back out on stage and she never did. Lesson learned, won't be spending money to see her ever again! |
My favorite concert would have to be the Bon-Jovi Concert this past January in Dallas. Jon Bon Jovi walk right up to me and gave me a huge and kiss on the cheek. |

Actually, can't remember most concerts but some memorable ones were: 1--Eric Clapton (Baton Rouge, some time in the mid 70's--I didn't inhale, I swear) 2--Kenny Loggins (at Red Rocks in the early 80's--loved it because of the beautiful setting) 3--George Benson (Baton Rouge in the 70's--this guy is really cool) 4--Tom Petty (Boston Garden in the 90's--again, no inhaling here either) 5--Oh--friends dragged me to an Eddie Money concert in the 70's (when he was young and very cute). I had never heard of him, but we met him after the show and he kissed me :p |

Melissa Etheridge concert in Chicago. (We had mediocre first row balcony seats when during the concert, the lights went out and when they came up, a Stage had risen in the middle of the theatre with Melissa on it right in front of us...the whole back of the theatre went nuts...screaming... both girls and guys were fainting right and left...literally...it was SO FUN! (Well, not the fainting but you get my drift) 3. Tracy Chapman at the House of Blues in Chicago...she is just so cool... Francie |

We spent alot of time together and were great friends and so all our friends always picked on us and swore that we were sleeping with each other.... Well at this concert we both got a little tore up and started dancing... that led to kissing..... that led to making out the whole way home from the concert in our DD's van with all our friends watching......and now were married... GREAT CONCERT Crystal |
