He still is hot. Have you seen a picture of him lately. It's a shame that someone that good looking is gay. Just my opinion. No offense to anyone. |

Even if you had a turntable, I know you don't have those little plastic dealies left...the ones that went in the center. Btw, when we replaced our stereo system, I made hubby buy a turntable unit too. Cost us $700 for that one piece. Took my albums and listened to them all one afternoon. Now these weren't from when I was a kid, I was older and took care of them....but they didn't sound as good as I remember....lots of scratchy and hissy noise. Yuck. Btw, I had some albums that I didn't even remember the artist...had to play the whole thing...just to hear the ONE song I obviously bought it for  Ooo, had multiple Micheal Jackson albums....Thriller and Off the Wall. You would never believe it's the same person on the covers. Never mind the facial feature differences, he's two different colors, to boot  Do you remember when for a promotion....cereal boxes would have a "record' on the box? And it worked? I love those things. I had Sugar Sugar from the Archies, probably others but that's the only one I remember ;) Any way, if ya wanna play some records, come on over ;) |

Also went to see him for free couple years ago....his promotional stuff is all from the 70's/80's...apparently Peter doesn't know he doesn't have hair any more...it's all still there on his t-shirts. Btw, those shirts were selling for 45 bucks a piece...I remember thinking he shouldn't have blown all those residual checks  |

PS Cause I still have edit time....I hated Kung Foo Fightin'....absolutely hated it. I'd would've stepped on that record if I'd been playing at your house, RR....accidently of course ;) |
:thumbdown Mine was "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson! Ugh! Oh well At least there is not a rule that you have to listen to your song once a day forever! LOL! |

Oh you know the song....hey, hey, hey babee, what I wanna knowwww...do ya feel alright? Those are the words, too bad I can't post the tune  Before we got that turntable above...told a friend I was going to chuck all my albums...she said Oh, no save them for Casey!! Looked at her and said "oh, yea, she'll love 'em...no way to play them but they make great frisbees" Another time I was taking the albums out of our entertainment center....cause we got a new one....friend's son asked what they were. They're albums, we used to listen to these....looked at me with a surprised expression and said..."wow, your walkmen must've been huge back then" Wishing I still had the 8 track player....bet those puppies bring good money on eBay. I know someone out there would pay big bucks for my player and those Three Dog Night 8 track tapes :D |

And ya had to clunk through the 4 sections to get to that favorite song...had to listen to the ones before it though....my car 8 track player ATE stinkin' tapes. You'd pull it out and all the tape would be stuck inside the stupid player.... |
Quote:
Now we're talking hi-tech. I think my car 8 track went through a tape a day. |

And Teri, leave it to you to do the math! I HATE when the first number changes. I've had trouble with that since 30. I was hoping to sneak away to a mountaintop on my June birthday and ponder the meaning of life, but my wife is planning a surprise party in Vegas. I discovered the surprise a year ago, but she's going through with it. I have no doubt it will be humiliating. Are there rocks in the desert I can crawl under? Oh, forgot: My wife checked her song. It was "Battle of New Orleans." Did the guys win that one? |
Quote:
Enjoy your non-surprise surprise party. My sil wanted my brother to really be surprised....she kept changing the dates, places etc. I told ..."ya really want him to be surprised? don't have a party"....that'll surprise Mr. I love being the center of attention...LOL. Btw, say it outloud one time...I am almost fifty....hits ya right here  Check out my Tuesday avatar!!! You guys already saw Monday's ;) I love the footprints on the rainbow bridge |
