Ok, dating myself again. In the original movie (not for TV) Posideon Adventure....that was the title song. It was her only hit. Btw, Shelly Winters who just died....was in the original cast...Gene Hackman was the leading man. I don't think they ask ol' Gene to lead anything any more either :rolleyes:

Holy Cow! We are the same age and you have two grandchildren? Please tell me you started young! I was 29 when I got married. My kids are 13 and 15 but a lot of my friends are having grandchildren. My brother's daughter just had twin boys March 2nd.That made me feel old. We have a brother and a sister in their 60's so I didn't think about it when they had grandchildren. Then there is my brother and my younger sister and I. We are the young ones. Of course my brother got married at 19. If his daughter had done the same he could have been a grandfather 11 years ago!

Good for you. And I agree with everything. Well everything but the coloring over my gray hair! LOL In fact I'm in need of coloring very soon the other day I seen a few gray and had my Val start plucking. We started at a quater for every hair,,,, but she kept pulling more and more out. so I told her to stop once she was at $5.75 and told her ok lets make it nickel. She make $1.50 more. :eek: If you do the math,,,, that's alot of gray hair!

ok, I was just reading this to Megan. She wants to make everyone feel REALLY old so she had me look up hers.. It is "Informer" by Snow. Never heard of them. She was born in 1993, I have shoes older than she is!

Yea...I think they must have been a one hit wonder...never heard of them! Have heard of Lawrence Welk though...my parents went to see him in concert! :rolleyes: He was on TV every Sat night!! :rolleyes:

Oh! Kung Fu Fighting, I use to play that 45 OVER AND OVER, My mom used to bang on the floor, ( cause I was in my playroom) I always thought " If you would buy me more than one, I wouldn't have to play it over and over to death." I really don't understand WHY I liked that song?? :rolleyes:

LOL Teri, I did get married young, we just had our 25th. We waited five years to have children. Two boys one year and one week apart. Eight years ago we adopted three wonderful children. That's how we have 5. It was our oldest daughter who made us Grandparents. She's only 21 with two children, she's finding out it's not as easy as she thought. We wish she would have stayed in school, but there was no way she was going to do that. At least we have four who will. The good thing is she came to us and told us we were right,
but she wanted to find out on her own. I think she was in too much of a hurry to grow up. I guess being a Grandparent isn't all that bad, but it could have waited. I guess I'm the one who has to grow up sometime, but I really don't want too :D :D :D :D
