Do YOU sing in your car? Come on and admit it... I was inspired to start this thread because a few hours ago I was, well :blush: ...I was singing loud and proud in my car :D! I was probobly busting a few moves too if I didnt think anyone was paying any attention to me. I love playing my music loud in the car and singing at the top of my lungs despite the fact that I was not blessed with a good singing voice and I cant sing on key, LOL. Who cares when you are all alone in a car? :tongue3: I was singing "Dance, Dance" by Fall Out Boy :notworthy . So what is the latest tune you find yourself singing loud and proud to in the car? |
OK I admit it! I do sing in my car.. well anywhere really! well i also dance & sing in my car if no one is around! i recently have been singing Kelly Clarkson's songs Lol.. :eek: :) |

Frequently. I only get my groove on when the kids are in the car because it mortifies them. LOL I live to embarrass my kids. :D :D |
I am soooooo guilty of this, and I was definately not born with a good singing voice, I have a system in my car so I just CRANK my music till my subs are so loud that I can't hear myself :tongue: .... although I don't just secretly sing alone in my car, I always sing around my bf too, poor guy has to suffer! |
Im guilty as well. But I turn it up real loud! That way it sounds like I am singing right in tune with the song! LOL |

When I had my corvette I blew out all my speakers....Twice. and yup - Been CAUGHT bustin a few moves AND singing....even got applauded once at a red light....THAT was embarrassing....I listen to nothin but R&B and made all of my own cd's so I pretty much sing to anything I'm playing and I KNOW I look like an idiot. I sing Commercials watchin tv too...The girls BOTH know to get up and dance when there's a REALLY good one on...it's hilarious - they love me singing |

Shanatink, my daughter loves that Fall Out Boy song!!! Now that I have satellite in my car, I can listen to all my late 70's highschool favorites and I am singing my little heart out!! Only when my 15 year old daughter is in the car she can't stand my music and we make a compromise and listen to the 80's!! My 15 year old says moms are not suppose to dance in the car. They look like weirdos. Yet a 15 year old can??? |

HAHA This is so funny! I just spent 12 hours driving back from my mom's singing the whole way! I was singing anything and everything, it was too fun! Except Simon has a certain taste in music and doesn't always care for my singing :) |
I am also guilty my 6, 3, & 2 year old love Jessica Simpson anf the Cheetah girls so when we get in thats the first thing we do is turn it up lound and dance in our seats Yep and Im sure I look like a total idiot but I love to sing with my girls :) |
My kids love to pick instruments and rock out in the car. So the last thing we blasted was Sheryl Crow. We roll down the windows, Jacob plays guitar, Noah on drums and mommy sings. We don't care what strangers think at the stoplights, but if I ever saw anyone I knew, I'd be mortified. :D |
The girls and I sing it out in the car...... My youngest doing the "My Hump" song at school was a little tiny bit embarrassing though...Gonna have to start censoring a little.. Bren |
I'll have to say without so much as a doubt, no! Of course the fact that I don't own a car may help ;) . I live in the downtown core and have roughly a 20 second walk to work. It's 10-20 k to buy a parking spot in most condos downtown. I do have about have about a 5 minute walk to my yorkies daycare every morning though. |

Yep I'll sing. When I was in high school I would be with my friends going to the mall to see a movie and we'd be driving with me in the backseat rocking out extreme. (throwing my head around, bouncing and dancing) Hey what can I say "when you're having fun, you're having fun." Every once in a while I'll get spunky and bust a few spastic moves. It's fun! You just have to let loose and live a little. Who cares what others think, most of them you'll never see again, and if they are someone you know they just learned something new about you. You like to have fun. The last song I sang to was "Cheating by Sara Evans." I usually will sing to whatever comes on that I know. |
I do it too! I sing full whack but the volume is up that loud, I actually cant hear myself! lol. And I nod my head and bang the steering wheel too. Its just so embarassing when someone in the car next to you notices, especially when your stuck at traffic lights!! :eek: :eek: :eek: |
Totally Guilty here. I love to blast the music, roll down the windows and really get into, especially when the weather finally gets nice. The only problem, I can not sing, or carry a note to save my life. I have been asked by my kids to please don't sing because it sounds really bad. :eek: Last year for our dance recital we were doing 42 ST.. The teacher wanted us to sing, until she heard us. She told us she never met an entire group of women who could not sing. But sounded really bad, we have been forbidden from singing in class. |

I was belting out the songs from Wicked today on the way to work. I love to burn my own CD's and I put all songs I can sing at the top of my lungs! My sister got a satellite radio in her car and she puts it on the 70's channel. We sing song after song! Every time I try to get out of the car something else comes on. It's so great! |

Oh boy, I sing all the time and like you Shana could not carry a tune if it were strapped on my back. I love my new CD....Little Big Town and the song Boondocks is on constant REPEAT in my car. Even my daughter who is 4 loves that song. She is so cute when she goes.....You get a line, I get a pole.......... |
