Young is a tough candidate to figure. He looked much better in the initial auditions than in the semifinals, although his voice technically may be the best of the six men. He just hasn’t shown the same verve on stage that he did in the early rounds.

Part of the problem is that he’s treating this like an audition rather than a popularity contest. If his only audience were the judges, he’d be in better shape because he’s picking songs that showcase his range and his ability to hit notes. What he’s not doing is singing songs that get the audience involved. At this point, his main asset is that smoldering look he feeds the cameras each week, and unfortunately for him Paula Abdul does not get millions of votes.

LOL they know Paula is diggin' him too. :rolleyes:

I've said since the first cut it is going to be Lisa and Ace and Ace will win. I LOVE this show!

Ya know...I realized this last night....you know who Kevin looks like (the young innocent with the glasses, is that his name)....any way he is the spitting image of Chicken Little. Here's Kev now......

Have you not been watching AI?? A few weeks ago Seacrest did a side by side with Chicken Little and Kevin to show the similarities. I know it's too funny.

I don't know who's going...but Simon is wrong about one thing....even my grandmother wouldn't vote for chicken little. I do always feel sorry for him...when they do the....Kevin....you are or are not in the bottom 3 votes. You know that little guy has everything crossed that he has to cross..

Jimney christmas....my grandmother wouldn't vote for him...but NOW I might...sympathy vote but a vote none the less

I confess I....gasp....miss shows. I didn't see that episode, but think that was really mean of them. Only watched part of last night's....it's back to why I didn't watch past auditions....bad rendisions of Elton John's songs. I don't like when they have to sing a particular artist. Why not have 'em sing Earth, Wind, and Fire? Everyone can sing in that key....not. My friend sings those in his Cheech Martin voice though....that I like :D

Ok, I'm a little shaken still from last night,, I did not think my BF Ace's performance was up to parr,, ( which I will be discussing w/him) So at 10 I'm, making my phone calls to vote for him,, I'm getting through eveytime,,,HMMMM. Am I the only one voting for him? I'm getting nervous so I try to call for a couple others of my posse.. hmmm BUSY! Not GOOD. Call for my man again,,, straight through.. I'm nervous,,, my man might be getting the boot...

I think after last night he's gonna be spending a lot more time with you...

I can't believe that I'm gonna say this but I'm jealous of Bucky's hair, it's pretty girly hair!

Has anyone checked to see if any of the girls are in a sorority? You know that's why Carrie Underwood won last season, she's a Tri Sigma. They all banded together and voted for her every show, no matter what....

I know it girl.. Ace was not on his game... :(

And Bucky's hair did look good, for a girl. Not Jessica Simpson'ish, but it was quite pretty.
