Just got my order today,, (late :( )
Anyhow, I love those Carmel Delights, and those strawberry ones that they had last year and NOT this year. And I got the lemon creme kind too.
What is your favorite kind, new or discontinued?

Oh I love the Thin Mints and Carmel Delights. I have 2 girlscouts living in my house which means hundreds of boxes of cookies. I would be so happy if I never saw another box UGGGGGG.....

The ones I liked from last year, that they don't make anymore :mad: were.. Iced Berry Pinatas, I think I still have a box in the freezer :)

Tag alongs....the chocolate with peanut butter. One year at cookie time I'd been doing weight watchers (very well I might add) any way....my cookie order came in and since I didn't want to cheat, I stuck them in the freezer. Did you know frozen thin mint cookies are delicious???? :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
Now if I'm on a diet when they arrive....I eat the whole box at one sitting and feel guilty once. Instead of mini guilt twinges eating them 2 at a time :D :D

Judging from you guys descriptions...I think they sell different cookies in the north. The powers that be at Girl Scouts...think southerns??? heck, everyone knows they'll eat the plain ones, don't waste the fancy stuff on them :eek: :eek: Seriously, I have never heard of some of the ones ya'll are mentioning and I'm a cookie buyer from waaaayyyyy back ;)

My favorite are the Thin Mints and also the Peanut Butter patties! I am with Deb and have never heard of some of the ones you are mentioning! My little sisters sells them and I'm telling you there are only like 4 different kinds that we get to choose from :eek:

Obviously the people of Missouri and Virginia are being cheated. Next time, I'm looking that girl scout in the eye and demanding the order form with the good cookies on it :D

new fave are the Friendship circles...last year they called them Animal Treasures and they are shortbread with fudge on the back....fabulous dipped in coffee.
Carmel Delights are number two

My daughter is in Girl Scouts (Brenham, TX) - I guess I am too officially since I'm the troop treasurer. I'm so glad cookie time is over!! I'm really not much of a cookie eater but the Thin Mints are definitely a best seller. My absolute favorite when I was a kid were the Kookaburas. I know I'm not spelling that right but I just spelled it like it sounds - in case any of you remember those. They were kinda like a Twix candy bar. We would get in so much trouble because we (my sister and I) could sit down and eat a whole box in one sitting!

Speaking of different cookies in different regions..... My boss' daughter always has a few different cookies than we do because her troop is in a different town than I live in. I also discovered when I was selling them at work (and competing with him!) that our's cost $3.00 where his daughter's were $3.50. I hear that they are even higher in Houston. So, out of curiosity.... how much are they in your area??

Talk to them nothing....I'm gonna kick some butt :D Here's our choices...seriously
Samos, Tag alongs, Thin Mints, White wedding cookie looking kind, and get this...a plain ol' sugar cookie...they sprinkled it with cinnamon but it's a plain sugar cookie just the same. Remember those cookies that were kinda flower shaped with a hole in the center (so you could put em on your finger)...the cheap ones....99¢ for 800 (ok not that many)....when you were a kid. The Girl scout 18 dollar a box cookies are dang similar to those....only thing missing is the hole :eek: Jimney Christmas...being ripped off by girl scouts :rolleyes:

My favorite are teh peanut butter sandwich kind and the lemon pastry creams. I already ate 2 boxes since Saturday. That other GS better show up soon ! Ours weer 4.00 a box

TERRR REE, I wasn't gonna tell them that. :eek: They think I only ate frozen thin mints. Note to everyone else....frozen girl scout cookies don't really freeze and need no defrosting ;)

Oh, I forgot...add the peanut butter sandwich ones to the list of cookies they're allowed to sell in Virginia.

For anyone paying 4 bucks for the peanut butter sandwich ones....ours at least cost less. $3.50 per box.

I just went out in the shop to "poke" at everyones cookies,,they also have a new, oatmeal cinnamon bite, they are low fat and little ,, pretty good if I must say. :rolleyes:

I thought 3 bucks was pushing it here, but 3.75.. Yikes, they better make bigger boxes there.. :rolleyes:

The only kind that you can get here are the Thin Mints, PB patties, shortbread and the lemon kind! Thats it! What are those Sango kind or whatever you guys are talking about!
