We had a family dinner yesterday at our house. We do it about 1 or 2 times a month. We alternate who's house it is at, but my dh always cooks. Well we had it at our house and dh did everything! He even baked 2 cakes. He grilled and it was great! It was such a great day!!
How was the weekend for all of you?? I hope it was good. Let me know!! :)

Of course she wanted to rub it in, the same as you would if it was your hubby! Mine is the same way, cooks, bakes, cleans, does laundry. Sorry rr but some of them do those things. Not many, but there are a few.

I'm wishing for that wife more and more here lately.... ;)

Disclaimer....I mean no offense to anyone whose husband ever baked a cake, thought of baking a cake, brought home a store bought cake or eaten a cake.....

You are spoiled! I need to move to a warmer climate. But I don't like it really hot, so I'm stuck here. If you ever hear of a place that is 75 all year with no humidity, let me know.

We moved from New York in 1970 after my Moms police car was hit.
She broke her back & neck, the Doctor said she needed

Stop the presses!!! I have to post that my hubby, Mr Wrinkle-Wearer, it looks fine.....just ironed a shirt by his dang self :D :D I am gonna have to buy a lottery ticket....cause it's a miracle ;) Hmmmm, drove me over 200 miles and spent HIS money on my new puppy and ironing....all within days of each other. I think he's trying to get some of my Simon alimony.... :rolleyes:

Truthfully, he and my daughter are all I've got. I haven't been on here that much because I'm in such pain. I'm still trying to do what I can, but between sleeping so much and being in pain, it's hard. I'm still doing my art. I've got a nice comfy chair and bed in there if needed. I'm sorry if it seemed like I was rubbing it in. This cold air and the lupus is kicking my a$$. I could stay in bed all day, but I don't. I'm still having the stupid seizures. I'm waiting on a list for NIH but they haven't started the study yet and I don't know how long I'll have to wait. My hubby has to do those things because I can't, but now that he does these things, he's getting so good and I'm just proud of him. I didn't mean to brag, that's not like me. I am just grateful he didn't kick me out years ago when I started getting sick. Our anniversary is this Sat. 17 years. I hope you all love and cherish your family and friends. I've got my friends on Yorkie Talk and feel so blessed.
