I have ibook... the white one.. it has been 4 yrs old.. about time to replace!

I have a Dell Inspiron 2650. Also about 4 yrs. I HATE dell!!!! I will never ever buy anyother computer from them!!!! :mad: :thumbdown

I like my dell... it's never given me any trouble! Maybe I'm easy to please. I leave it on ALL of the time, and have about a million programs installed. :)

Dell Dimension 8200 with 1 GB Rambus Ram, Nvidea GeForce4 128 MB Vid Card. Running Fedora Core 4 Linux.

I could have included more about the systems but I don't think you care about, SATA drives, sound cards etc :)

So as not to hijack the thread I'll keep this short. I'm a network admin for an ad agency and spend much of my time dealing with Macintosh computers. Seriously think twice before going to an intel based Mac. You'll want to wait and make sure most of the apps you use are Universal binaries. The Rosetta technology is looking a bit iffy. Company was going to but me one but it turns out not even Apple Remote Desktop runs on an Intel Mac, not even in Rosetta =\

I have a dell too and it works pretty well for me, I've never had any problems I haven't seen with other brands too.

I have the Sony Vaio 710 & The Sony Vaio Laptop.
Never had any problems. :) :) :)
The kids all have HP's, they run great too :D

iBook G4 ...I have had it about 8 months and I love it. It is great for sending out images of my artwork. We also have a Dell desktop in our kitchen for the family computer.

We have (and I know only because I asked) a Dell 4700 PCfor our main computer, I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop, and hubby has an IBM Thinkpad. And does his da*n Crackberry count? He's always emailing on that and driving me NUTS!! Even at stop lights!! :eek:

We have a Compaq notebook and it has been great! We have it on wireless network with our printer wireless as well!!! I love being able to be anywhere in our apartment and be able to be on the computer :D

I adore my 15" Apple aluminum PowerBook 1.5 GHz - I've been using Macs since 1989. My daughter has my old clamshell iBook, but I just upgraded her to the new iMac which should get here sometime this week. My ancient Powerbook 170 is gathering dust in a closet, but I still love it - my first laptop. We also have two PC's in the house - my son is a gamer, and I'll use them only when I have to. I'm also waiting for the 2nd (or 3rd) generation of the intel Macs (Mac Book Pro) before I upgrade my own computer. :)
