How did you find Yorkie Talk?
 
Since there are so many people here I was wondering how you found Yorkie Talk.

Me? I was doing searches on Google for GME (Granulomatous Meningoencephalitis) or Necrotizing Encephalitis in Yorkies, and found a link to a post here. Once I started poking around I knew I found a great bunch of people I wanted to be a part of to learn from and to help when I can.

When I got Bailey (being anal as I am) I was looking up anything and everything about Yorkies, and printing it out, (which is in a nice thick binder now) ha anyhow, one day I found YT and I pretty much quit looking for info after that. ;)

I didn't find Yorkietalk.....YorkieTalk found me. Fasteddie found an article written about me, my artwork, and Vivi and posted it in the New Section. I was checking to see if the article had shown up in anything besides the newspaper and saw that it was on YT. The rest is history...I joined to thank Fasteddie and never left. I love YT :) :) :)

Just put in yorkshire Terrier and came upon YT. It was the first and only forum I have gone on. I didn't even know what to do at first. I have learned so much form this site and met so many kind people.

I love the fact that everyone has their own story to tell. Some are unique which is awesome but there is much comfort in knowing we have so much in common!

I got Baby, and THEN I did tons of research. Backwards, but as least it got done. Well, I'd put searches into Google and kept coming up with threads on YT, but they weren't actually the forum.

Like....people would write, and then it would say ":eek" and stuff like that. I didn't know why they kept writing that until I found the forum. Then I realized I was seeing the wording instead of the actually smiley face :eek:

A friend told me about it. The funny thing is...I haven't seen her here at all. She even said what a wonderful forum this was. Wonder where she went?

Found it by searching google for dry skin in Yorkies. Stewie had very dry skin when I got him.

Weird. I was googling various adult sites and typed in "Hot chicks who like dorkie men." Must have had a typo, because next thing I know, here I was! I was so delighted to meet you all, I went out and bought the Yorkies.

That COULD happen!! :eek:

I remember some years back when all the good spyware/anitivirus/firewalls weren't as common as they are now...

I worked for a small company and a co-worker and I were doing a search for something legit for the job. I forget now the words we used, but they were totally innocent. The next thing we know, we're on a porn site, and we couldn't get out of it!! No matter what we did to try to close it, a new window would pop up just as bad as the last one!!! I think we finally just turned the computer off and walked away!!

Years ago when I was looking up Yorkies (because I wanted one) I came across YorkieTalk. I saved it in my favorites and didn't think about it for years....Until after I had gotten my little guy and was looking up "shaking, etc)...the site popped up and that is when I joined!

The other day my daughter who loves horses, typed into a site called DreamHorse.com. Well she must have switched some letters around because those were not Horses! :eek:
