I am SOOO MAD!! Im so mad at our city utilities office. They WILL NOT give me an extention until Friday to pay my utilities. I got my notice today and I called and said i wont have the money until Friday because i dont get paid till than and i'm also getting my pell money for going to school and the B^&%* says well were not going to give you one you have to have it paid by 9:00am tomorrow or they will be shut off so I said..um..under state law you cant turn them off during winter and you know what she says?? she goes"yes, we can because we supply utilities to surrounding areas so that dont apply to us!! :mad: :mad: :mad: WTF..i have 2 kids and i run a daycare and im only asking for a day and she informed me that wasnt her problem!!!!!!!!! :mad: Im so mad right now i could go up their and kick her A$$. We, the citizens pay for their damn wages. I HATE this town and their F^&%*# up ways of doing things.:( :mad: Sorry to vent but im going to explode!!!!!! |
I would ask to talk to her boss. They shouldn't be able to turn off the heat until it's warmer. Can you borrow the money or write a post dated check? |

Yeah, I would call and ask to talk to the supervisor. Explain that you have kids, it's cold and that you will pay the day after tomorow. They should grant you an extention! Good Luck! |
If you pay it tomorrow by the time your check clears it will be Friday or later anyway. Good luck. |

Be aware those cash advance places charge upwards of 500.00% interest. I am not kidding and it is not illegal as long as they disclose the interest rate. A $100 "loan" will cost you $600. to pay off. You are better off getting a cash advance from your cc.
