What face cream do you use? Was wondering what face cream/wrinkle cream you all used. ;) I use clarins at the mo just wondered if anyone has any recommendations?? |
Anne, if that's your picture in your avatar....your wrinkle cream's working just fine....I don't see any :D I don't use any face cream because even at 45 I STILL have oily skin....I thought the benefit of middle age would be no blemishes....I still get pimples. Maybe they're helping with my youthful appearance  |
i use any any anti wrinke cream i get my hands on...thats why i still look like this..kidding |

I've been using Kiehl's oil-free moisturizer and cleansing products and I really like them. Very reasonably priced, too! Kiehl's Website |
I only use Arbonne products. They are amazing. I had blackhead issues on my nose, No more of that. My mom was wanting something for wrinkles and so did my sister and aunts. They all love it. I converted everyone..lol..it's all natural with botanicals and no mineral oils or animal fats. |
I use Visibly Even, by Neutragena...it isn't for wrinkles directly, but they do have something like that for wrinkles. |
I don't use wrinkle cream or anti-aging stuff.. just not yet.. but I like Shiseido for everything else! lotion etc.. |
I use to use Shiseido but be aware, they are VERY high in mineral oil, which causes a lot of the under skin dirt. I've realized, after talking to some Estiticians (sp?) that Shiseido and brands like it, use their products to get your skin addicted to their products, but the ingredients aren't greeat and they have fragrances. I used it for years but recently switched after getting the same reports on it. Just thought you might want to know. |

Go to the link and check out the products. They are amazing. |
I started using MD Formulations in Nov. and I love it! For those with oily skin, you still need to use an oil free moisturizer! If you don't, your oil glands will work overtime! |
I use this amazing product called P50. When beauty editors from Allure, Elle and Bazarre were polled and asked which product they could not live without...this product kept coming up.It is like getting a face peel every night without the peel part. :) |

Mary Kay... |
Sherry Lynn... I just sent you a pm. THe product is made by Biologique Recherche Paris and is available from peauonline.com. It is called p50 Lotion but it is more of a liquid. It does have a medicinal smell but it doesn't linger. |
Thanks, I checked and... Due to the overwhelming response from the magazine articles they are on backorder! :( I'm on the list, though! |
I use Shiseido. Yes, their products tend to be a little bit more oily than others. However, I have pretty dry skin so it works very well with me. |
I just turned 50 and decided I needed to be more concerned about my skin. I don't get blemishes, but I spend so much time outside in all kinds of weather with my horse that my skin tends to be dry and of course I have a few wrinkles. My friend just started selling Mary Kay (she's a little older than me and is also outside all the time) and she talked me into trying the Mary Kay time wise products. I really like them and my face doesn't feel so dried out all the time and the smaller wrinkles seem a little less noticable |
Mary Kay I did find a trick noone had clued me in on though, I bought this book that tells you beauty secrets used at spas. If you put a very small dab of preparation H in the palm of your hand then add your moisturizer, mix it together before applying to your face...you will wake up w/o bags under the eyes and firmer skin. Be careful not to get it in your eyes. I wonder who came up with this idea! |
I use Serious Skincare from HSN, It is a Jennifer Flavin Stallone Product and I love all the products and could not be without it. They have something for every skintype. :) |
Being in the Skin Care business, I carry a lot of different products. Obagi, MD Forte, Kinerase, Glytone, Arbonne, and Ret. A. I am using the Arbonne products right now and I do really like them. People tell me that the Avon Anew products are wonderful also. Just so many products to choose. The best thing to do for your skin is use a sunscreen every morning, then apply your cream or lotion. Get a good repair cream for night. Never use soap on your face....if your skin is dry the soap will make your skin very tight and flakey! Try do find a good facial wash made for your skin type. |
I am a Beauticontrol consultant. We have some great products. |

That said....wear your sunscreen everyday even when it is cloudy...that is the best thing in the world for your skin since most of the damage and wrinkles are caused by sun damage and can be avoided by sunscreen...not to mention helping to protect you against skin cancer. I tell my teenage daughter that she can avoid leathery sun damage by wearing sunscreen and she wears it everyday.During my thirties...I was always the pale one and was teased for not having a tan...you should see the same people now running to the doctor to get rid of sun damage. Wear your sunscreen, ladies!!!!! :) |
The only cream I put in my face is ice cream! :teethysmi |
I think your skin looks great!! I just use Oil of Olay! The women in my family have been using it forever. |

I have awful bags under my eyes. I think it's hereditary because my dad and brother have them bad, too, no matter how much we sleep :/ Maybe I will try the Preparation H stuff. Any other eye-bag secrets? My cousin is trying to get me to buy her Arbonne products, but I honestly think she is obsessed with the idea of making a few bucks and I don't believe her about the products. She is constantly hawking me about them. Apparently one of her friends just sold enough to get a brand new white Mercedes from the Arbonne company. Does this seem plausible Nobella? I use Proactiv. I started using it a while back and have just sort of fallen into a rut. They keep my skin looking pretty good, but I'm not overly impressed with them. I guess it's pretty reasonably priced and it stopped breakouts. It's also pretty simple because you get a toner and cleanser, too. |
I use a great night cream with a TON of antioxidants in it. I get it at a spa in Canada. It's called Teye facial. But creams are more of a preventative with me. Why not start young, well younger:) And at a $100 a pop, it better work:) |
