I have NEXTEl and love my service. Although In WA it is only good if you are on the I-5 cooridor. Otherwise you can forget about service. It works for me though becuse I never leave home LOL. |

I have T-Mobile Family Plan . no complaints here . :) |
We have a simple Verizon prepaid phone. I put minutes on it when I want to use it and I don't have a monthly bill. We're not big phone users though so it may not be a good thing for someone who uses their cell phone alot. We mainly use ours for travel and as a second line for family in case of an emergency. I don't have any complaints about coverage areas or service and we haven't had any problems with our phone in the year and a half to 2 years that we've had it. |
I've used the sidekick and hated it. It was obnoxious to use as just a phone. My kids would love it, but for me it was a no go. |
Me and my husband has cellular one.. Its awesome. I am very happy with it! |
y0rkieL0ver - I had nextel and it was the worse. I would be talking and the next minute my calls would drop, that was so annoying. I switched to sprint because they had the free incoming minutes as well as nextel which i do have better service but OMG! i want that sidekick too. Good to know that i'm not the only one who is dying to have it. My friend has it and she loves it so now it's my turn to get it. NEXTEL SUCKS!!! |
I have T-Mobile, Family plan have 5 phones and its great except when I'm home! Go figure... I have to walk into my yard to talk to someone when I'm home!! Thank God I live in Sunny Florida! :p |
For a long time, I had Cingular Family Plan with rollover minutes and that was awesome . . . . . UNTIL Hurricane Katrina. Towers were down all over and we just couldn't wait until they were restored. For months afterwards, Cingular subscribers were having problems and you couldn't reach a Cingular customer in this area without major difficulties. We switched to Alltel and I've been really pleased. We no longer have the option of rollover minutes but we haven't gone over on our limit yet. We still have a family plan but I'm the only one doing the talking now. I have an extra phone right now that I'm going to allow my son to use while he is home from Iraq for 15 days and then I'll be sending it to my oldest daughter to use to call me so that our conversations don't use any minutes (mobile to mobile) since we talk on the phone about 10 times each day! I'm happy with the plan/minutes/pricing. |
I have a nokia trackfone. I had sprint in the past, but they were overcharging me and I got sick of all of the contracts and fees. I am glad that I only pay for the minutes I use now because some months I use it more than others, like christmas and birthdays. |
My husband and I always had Cingular and just switched to the family plan since my step daughter needed a phone. We used to have problems with the service, but can not complain now. One good thing is Cingular has SIM cards and my hubby always brings back the newest phones(unlocked) from Singapore way before they are available in the states. |
i have sprint and i love it :p |
My husband and I have both had Sprint since we've been married (almost 2 years) and we've had no problems at all. They have great service, plans, and reception. Highly recommended. My husband used to sell both Sprint and Verizon and he says Verizon is just as good. I don't know...... lol |

the attached picture is the phone I have. In the picture it looks big, but it's actually really small and compact.. a little bit smaller than my hand and my hands are small. |
I had a Nextel phone 9 years ago. it was ok. I switched to Cingular about 7 years ago. I got real pissed with Cingluar one day (they over charged me, billed me for dropped calls and I had horrible reception!) and paid to get out of my contract, well guess what... I'm with Cingular again, but not by choice! My dad lives on his cell phone for work and travels constantly and I think he got tired of not being able to get a hold of me! He got a free cell phone when he bought a new phone and gave it to me and switched my sisters plan to his and we all share 5000 minutes, free nights and weekends and free long distance. It actually only costs $20.00 more a month then what my dad was originaly paying for his service so by combining our plans we are all saving about $100.00 per month. Pretty good deal! I can't complain about Cingular anymore! |
