I've been here a couple of weeks or so now and I just wanted to get something off my chest. It will make it easier for me when I'm typing stuff in here which includes references to my private life. I hope it doesn't offend anyone, but I'm sure it will offend some. That is pretty much how it goes I'm afraid. So...... here goes....... I'm gay (and I don't mean gay as in happy, although I am happy :D). There it is. I live with my partner as I've mentioned a few times in previous posts. But it gets tiresome having to be careful with how I phrase things. I'm not a "jump on straight women" kinda person. I am a very faithful and loyal partner to my better half of two years. So, thats it, I hope no one is offended, I am just here for all things "yorkie". :aimeeyork

Sweetie....Straight or gay makes no difference - it's who you are INSIDE that counts and you have nothing to be apologizing for..... :hug:

I feel sorry for anyone who gets offended by gay people - it just shows how insecure & small minded THEY are.

I would have to say yes :D ...When my girls are makin out I call them my little Gay Girls & I NEVER miss out on the action,,, so what does that make ME ? lol -

and let me tell you - they make out ALOT !

This is highly entertaining!! :eyetearss :eyetearss :eyetearss And it shouldn't matter who your partner is and you should be able to call her by name - although I almost always call mine hubby - his name is Sean - on here, oh well - or say she or whatever!! Like you said we are here for all things Yorkie!! :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :aimeeyork For a while we thought our Max had a preference for someone other than our girls!! And we would have to get him a "friend" more his type! :p Luckily, for our puppies sake, he decided he did at least like Emma! :D

I would only be offended if anyone gave you a hard time for it. I pray it doesn't happen here, and would be beyond disappointed if it did!

i have a cousin that is gay and her and her partner is raising her nephew together because her sister died with cancer and i love them both. they are a family and also my family :thumbup:

Well said, Villette. Exactly what I would have said. I have several gay friends, one couple whom is pregnant and is raising another child from adoption. Doesn't bother me a bit. I support and applaud them for being so brave in a world as harsh as ours has become. I am straight and some of my friends wonder why I am such good friends with the "gay ones"...I hate the labels...but I really think it is their insecurity and inability to be accepting that bothers them most. Then too, they can't get in on all the gossip that I can!!! No offense taken by your prefences and welcome again to YT. I really enjoy reading your posts.

I kinda like people to get to know ME first, then they can know who I sleep with, LOL!! LOL!! I did ask around about desert. The thing is that all the ingredtients are native to Tunis. I dont think that the traditional things are gonna do you any good. I'll give you an example. One of the deserts is called Zgoo Goo, its basically a cream and nut desert. But you have to have the Zgoo Goo, which is a small tear drop shaped type of nut. I think its a nut, there's no other way to describe it. If you can't get it, then you can't make Zgoo Goo. There are some other things. But they're pretty much the same. The only thing I can suggest is if you look for a French recipe book. Most of the things we eat here are French deserts. Tunisia used to be a French colony, and the old french deserts are still a HUGE favorite here.

I have no problem with it, you say whatever you want to about your partner, even post pics of both of you, I'm sure you've told her about yorkietalk. If anyone has a problem with it, it's THEIR problem, but I think people on here are more mature than that. This is the year 2006 and everyone should be more accepting. As long as you are happy and have found a person in life that you care about I am happy for you!

I am glad you feel you can be yourself with us...no one should have to lead a secret life. In my book it is all about what kind of person you are and not who you are sleeping with or in my case the lack of sleeping with :rolleyes:
