I use both....if I know the person and have some kind of friendship with them, then I use their real name, but for the most part I use usernames!!

By the way, I'm Kristin for all those who don't know!!

I never tried to be inventive with my user name and wasn't bright enough to think...oh, it should mention my yorkie's name. I used bchgirl cause I use that on other boards and Lord knows, I can't remember different PASSWORDS and DIFFERENT names to boot.

For some reason....and I know what it really says...rrosenberry makes me think of raspberry ;) so there ya go...Rhonda Raspberry :)

I've found there are different people posting at night vs the day. I "know" the daytimers more than the other......

Nice! Believe me I've heard worse, when you're young and have and RR thing going on, it's amazing the things kids come up with... RailRoad.. Roto Rooter, one of my all time fav's ..NOT!

I like to use real names. I look at some of the user names and think "oh that's so-and-so" and don't even think about their usernames.

If their name is in their signature or if I've seen their names used before, then I try to go by the name. I start thinking of them as their names rather than by their usernames.

But my name is Mandy. My username is my 1st intial w/my last name! Very boring! Its fun getting to know real names! We know everyone else's yorkies names, now its time to know our names! LOL

I had no idea when I joined that my user name would be the one everyone saw....so really no imagination went into it! LOL I wish admin would give you one chance in the first 30 days or so to change your user name. Have any of you ever read the Sweet Potato Queens books? They all decided "Tammy" was the perfect southern belle name, so they all wanted to be "Tammy". So whenever the author talks about ANY of her friends, she says, "my friend, Tammy...." Maybe that's how it is with Kims here....LOL

I know the names of the people who post a lot but most people I just associate their user names with their dogs name, if that makes any sence. Ok for example, when I take my girls to the park for a walk I'm like "Oh that's Gucci's mom" and I totally forgot or don't know the owners name because usually when I see another person with a Yorkie or a cute dog and say "Hi" I usually just ask what their dogs name is instead of the owners name and they do the same (I guess it's just out of habit, which i guess is kinda wierd).
It actually happened to me today with a girl I always see at the park and we finally kinda laughed and asked what each others name is because we were just so caught up with eachothers dogs. :rolleyes:
