Yeah, my mother had me take her cat to have stitches out, he smelled like a whole bottle of whiskey. I didn't pay alot of mind to it until I saw him in Walmart with a CART...yes a CART full of booze! I am contacting the board of health examiners, he needs to be checked into unaware.

That is excellent advise. I do hope they pursue it even tho she cannot replace her little dog maybe she can prevent someone else having to go thru the same horrible experience.

GOOD!! Should/could she have an autopsy done on her baby to find out what they did?

Oh wow how awful, she should make sure to report him and try to see if can sue him. Sounds like this vet needs to be out out of buisness.

What??? What??? :eek: I am not believing what I am reading! He is drunk all of the time?? Please know that I don't mean this the way that it is going to sound, but I can't think of any other way to ask it...but why did anyone go back to this vet knowing that he may or may not be a boozer on the job? I am in NO WAY saying it's the fault of anyone who knew whatsoever. It is absolutely not! I just think that, now that this vet's negligence is is so plain to see, it should be shouted out so that everyone in your community knows about it. God...it's so scary. Whether it be vets, doctors or anyone we are forced to trust with our own lives or the lives of the ones we love, you never know which ones fail to realize the importance and love of another life other than what exists for themselves. It is just so heartbreaking when things like this happen. My prayers are with this poor girl and her beloved little baby. Please let her know that our thoughts and prayers are with her.

Drs should first consider being HUMANS and then PROFESSIONALS. But I guess this dr lacks both. How sad :mad:

I can't imagine the shock and hurt and anger that your friend felt when she was handed her baby in a BOX!!! My heart is breaking for her and her sweet angel. I would lose my mind if that was my Pixie or any of my babies given back to me like that!!! I am shaking just thinking about it. I don't think that damn vet's officce would be left standing by the time I was finished losing my mind!!!! My heart goes out to your friend and may she get the justice she and her baby deserve!!

This must have been so devastating! This man and helpers cannot possibly be in their right minds. What is wrong with these people? Do they have no conscience? I'd get them for sure - turn them in - they don't deserve to be open!

Oh sh*t, this scares me as Muffie is going in for teeth cleaning on Monday. Then Missy will be going for her spay in about 2 months.

How do you check out a vet for surgeries to be done?

My thought and prayers go out to you.

Oh no!! What in the world is this "vet" still practicing for?!? Poor little chi...That place needs to be shut down! Drunk?! I can't believe this...He needs to be stopped before anymore animals get hurt and people for that matter!

I don't think she even could think straight enough for an autopsy. I called her dad, but he was gone. I am going to tell him they need to persue legal actions. This is the most insane thing I have ever heard of. I don't know why anyone uses him...when you walk in his office, it reaks of urine smell. My parents had theirpoodle groomed there, until the day he was lit, and you couldn't wash that stink out of his fur. Oh, I am getting angry thinking about poor Jodi losing her baby all over again!!!!! :mad:


I don't know the details, I will talk to her dad and see if he got any thing out of the vet, as to what happened, etc.

How can one have a practice with vetenarians :eek: if they arent veternarians to begin with....sorry i just do not get it :mad:

Well...shockingly, alot of people use him. Like I said not me though! Some of the past girls were techs, but the girl I have seen is not. She is simply the office manager, heck, I was an office manager... guess I should've helped with the surgeries too!

My mother in law was confused too. She called to their office a few weeks ago and they said they didn't even spay/neuter anymore, and then this??? Maybe something else had happened and he had stopped??? I don't know, it is all so heartless to me. :(
