He rear ended someone and caused a death. How does he walk away unscathed? It is hard to believe that being a celebrity/having money does not have something to do with it.

Lots of people get into accidents that cause death. What do you suggest he should be charged with? He was not under the influence of alcohol and was not distracted (texting, on the phone etc), he was hauling within the legal weight limit. It was an accident. It's sad that someone was killed, but it was just that, an accident.

To rear end some at 38 mph because you did not see that they were stopped in front of you is reckless. It is every drivers responsibility to control your vehicle and because he some how became distracted a person is dead. IMO, if Joe Schmoe does that he gets charged with something.

As I understand it, Bruce Jenner, a 65 y.o. grandfather, caused an elderly widow's death by negligently following her car too closely in his to stop in time, forcing her car into oncoming highway traffic. But I have a question: If he does any prison time, will he be put in the male section of prison, as he was/is still physically male when he killed her and still is today? Can people just announce to the State prison system they are now a different gender or race or their eyes are different colors, etc., than they are or do they have to have some further factual, medical proof?

And if females have to shower in group showers, will he shower with other women even though he apparently still has male genitalia? I know I wouldn't want to strip down and shower with him if I were in the pokey!

Yes, yes and hell yes! They all just need to go away! Bruce Jenner is an Olympic gold medal winner but I really don't want to hear about his girly parts while I'm eating dinner or any other time. The rest of them haven't done a gosh darn thing that is news worthy and yet I know more about them than my next door neighbor because the media just won't quit showing that garbage!

I am sorry for all people that are confused about who they are. Fact is, you can want a lot of things. However.....DNA will always be the same. Male will have male DNA and female will have female DNA. Ergo, a man will always be a man and a woman will always be a woman. Adding parts and cutting off parts will not change that. We are simply male or female. From the day we are born until the day we die.

He is being sued by two different people regarding the accident, that resulted in the death of the elderly woman. I think they are still investigating the accident to determine if charges will be filed.....

I don't know anything about that family as I don't follow them on TV or otherwise. But I will tell you that when my son, at a very young age, participated in his first Olympics he was in awe of every one he met and very overwhelmed.

He came to me one day and told me about this wonderful man who had sat with him at lunch and was so instrumental in helping my son navigate the EXTREMELY OVERWHELMING (cut throat and political nature) of the whole Olympic thing -- that generous kind person was Bruce Jenner. You have to understand, my son was very young ( probably too young) and really did not know who Jenner was until someone told him - that would have been about 1990.

Well said Ann, I too hope Caitlyn finds happiness and peace. I saw the Vanity Fair photos. Awesome. I don't follow things like this, two days ago a friend text me. asked what do I think about Caitlyn Jenner, I wrote back, "who is that, never heard the name" lol. So I am just finding out about her now.

I have never seen the show, but I remember being shocked to learn that Bruce Jenner was married to Mama Kardashian and that he was part of this whole reality show thing.

Don't know too much about the accident, but I thought I read that the paparazzi was also involved and there is even some talk about someone being encouraged to make a quick stop so they could get a picture of Bruce, I don't know any facts yet, but to answer your question, I think they have to have sex reassignment surgery before they are considered legally that sex. So he would probably have to go to a male prison. He has said that he is still thinking about the actual surgery and wants to keep that part private, so the public will not know when that is done. If you've ever watched Orange is the New Black, they have a real transsexual playing the part of a transsexual in a women's prison, she has gone through the final surgery, but the prison wants to take away her hormones, which would be a extremely hard on the women.

Not to worry about Bruce/Caitlyn in prison - it will never happen unless he kills that controlling ex wife of his. He is being sued and will pay up and that's the end of the story.

I watched 15 mins. of that Kardashian girls show one day and it seemed like I lost 30 points in IQ before I changed the channel. Looked like 15 mins. of superficiality and ME ME from the 3 girls who were on the screen. They seemed nice on the surface but I was left with "so....."? Didn't get the point of the show except maybe a statement about family togetherness? What do they DO that drives the storyline?

Sure seems like Jenner didn't waste a moment of time grieving or apologizing or anything over the death he caused but went right into his big announcement, a much ballyhooed interview on TV(was the dead woman even mentioned in it?), and then announces a reality show - all within a very few months of causing another human's death.

I've never watched him on TV but from what little I've seen of him in snips of video on other TV shows where he's covered, he seems like a good-hearted guy, hasn't abandoned his first children, seems to love and at least apparently financially supports them and apparently that whole big family while they were young.

But he sure seems to have lost his sensitivity toward others not in his family circle! I know he didn't ever intend to do kill anybody but still, his negligent behavior caused a person to DIE in a car wreck while he walked away and to blast himself into the spotlight within a couple of months of that death rather than show some empathy toward that dead woman and those who loved her by retiring from center stage for a year or so would have shown some empathy and sensitivity. I guess his K stepchildren have changed him!

Seems like the poor lady has been tossed aside while he pursues his weird-looking facial and hair-style changes. For some reason, I think he might become another Michael Jackson - a once hugely talented professional, gifted with amazing abilities, who just began to haunt the office of the plastic surgeon and look weirder and weirder after each visit to the O.R. Plus, he speaks in the 3rd person about himself.

From what I can tell, the K's could all retire and few will miss them. Still, I wish them well and hope they stay together as a family, which is what it's all about.

To be honest, very few people will be the same with a camera in their face.

For some reason, for maybe the majority or at least very many of entertainers/public figures, that seems to be true. And they heartily seem to court that camera and when a news camera isn't present, a selfie will do. Still, just sticking a camera in someone's face doesn't really change their character or basic beliefs. It's the whole public fame issue and money/power associated with it that probably leads to that.

When I'm bored or I can't sleep, I love coming to YT and reading threads like this. :D

I think a person has to be bored with his time to watch or read anything about the family.

I watch the show on occasion with my daughters. Gosh, I'm almost afraid to admit that.... :D As far as their show goes, it's just TV. I doubt it is anything like their real lives outside the camera. It is a show produced from many hours of tape to be what the producers want the viewers to see and think. That to me is hardly reality. Do people really take it that seriously?

As far as the family goes, honestly, I think what people see in it is the dialogue between them all is common dialogue between many families (or maybe more so siblings) on some level, only ordinary families wouldn't talk to eachother that way in public much less on TV. So it has the OMG I can't believe they talk to eachother like that shock factor, even though many siblings and friends and some parents do actually have similar dialogue, they'd never admit to. I have heard it with my own girls, and I have heard it between close groups of friends. Sometimes it seems vulgar, incredibly insensitive, borderline hateful, but they actually have very close relationships and it's a dialogue only "they" really understand and to the outside world seems shocking.

I couldn't agree more. I can't change the channel fast enough when the mention of these two names come up. Just like one poster said, there's far more important things concerning this country than trash TV.

My grandson's wife watches all these programs and believes every word.

I love the real housewives shows, but I think it's because it enables me to understand people better. I've always measured people through my values and if I wouldn't do something, I didn't think others would do it, but now I'm learning there are many different kinds of people in the world. Lol, Yorkietalk teaches me that as well! That said, I still couldn't watch the Kardashians, I'm just a fan of Bruce and anyone who follows their heart and does what they think is best for them, (as long as it doesn't hurt others) no matter what the rest of the world thinks. When you get to sixty, you better start pleasing yourself!

I will admit to watching the Beverly Hills housewives some just so I can see what their houses look like but I can't take that constant arguing. I just heard today that Kim Richards is back in rehab and Paris's Mother (is her name Susan?) might take her place for next season's show.

I think it's Kathy, I'm not sure why she would want to be on this show, I can see the motivations for others, it helps actresses get jobs and helps others sell products and create a line, but why would she want it? I loved little Kim since she was child from her Witch Mountain movies and was so disappointed to see how she turned out. So spoiled and entitled and just plain mean. I remember Shirley Temple was the first child actress that I was aware of and she turned out wonderfully, I don't know why most child actors have such a hard time dealing with real life.

You're right, it is Kathy and I wondered why, with all her wealth she would want to do a reality show period. It's probably not going to happen.
