Oh my gosh! Tiffany that was the sweetest thing!! You really were my favorite nurse he ever had. You also have a HUGE heart!!! Thanks again for everything that you do for him, and continue to do in the future!!! God Bless You, Heather |
praying Heather, I didn't read all the posts, but felt lead to post myself. I know that God is with you. We'll be praying for you and for your little one. I feel that God knows what He gives us when He gives it to us. He won't give you more than you can handle, even if you feel you can't handle it. Just remember, lean on Him when you need it. He will get you through these bumps in your life. God is going to use your little boy to show you and others what an angel can be. Hang in there and we're here for you. God bless, Heather A |
I love the pictures of your son with the big smile on his face. I will keep him in my prayers. |
You deserve prayers and much more. As for your child I am sure he will meet and surpass your expactions and those of anyone else. He is a Gods child and a very special one. |
Heather, I just found this post, and want you to know that many, many prayers are coming for you and your family. Isn't this a great group of caring folks. I have read many of the posts, and could hardly hold the tears back. Ayden shows strength, just like you. We all care about you, so please keep us posted when you can. God bless, Kate |
thank you all so much! Yes this really is like a second online family for me. All of the people here are so wonderful! They all have been such a support system for me. I hope that you are all blessed with health and happiness!!! Heather |
Heather, I am sorry I did not read your post sooner. Ayden is a beautiful baby. I just want you to know that I have had some adult friends who are blind. They have full lives, successful careers, happy marriages, and in a few cases GREAT DOGS who go everywhere with them. A few of these friends have been blind since birth, and never considered themselves to be limited in any way. I believe their parents had a lot to do with their successes. Ayden will be taking his cues from you as he grows up. I believe that as long as you let him know that he can achieve and do anything, he will. One of my friends is a well-known lawyer in the Justice Dept in Washington DC. She was responsible for getting legislation changed to allow working dogs into the Capitol building....she did this after she went to testify before Congress one day and was told she could not bring her dog, Beau, into the Senate chambers. The rule is changed now, thanks to her and Beau. Beau died earlier this month. He had retired a few years ago, but stayed on with the family and went to work with the husband. There was a big article in the Washington Post about Beau and his mistress. I'm sorry---I am wandering here. The point is, blindness does not have to be a disability or a barrier to a happy life. |
dear heather, you did nothing wrong! my prayers are with you & your sweet baby! |
