I brought it out last night from deep in the cabinets. It's really not that heavy! I guess the lower model is lighter? I used it last night and this morning to make batter for waffles. I really should use this thing more. Oh yeah. OT. I went to Costco the other day and the Vitamix is now down to $325. I paid $375 about a year and a half ago and that was a very good price then. |
I have had great luck with my Nutri-Bullet....have had it about 2 years and I use it at least once a day...either have a smoothie for breakfast or one for dinner. Makes frozen fruit, ice cubes, 12 oz 2% milk and my protein powder, with a bunch of other grains and oils added.....makes a wonderful thick malt....I could drink a mop bucket full of that smoothie! I did buy one of those ovens that are round and sit on your counter, especially great for doing chickens in....mine broke after 8 months....got another replacement....it lasted 6 months....the third one lasted me a little over a month....I just gave up on that disaster! |

The Kitchen Aid Artisan mixer is $280 now with the current promotion at Williams Sonoma. Other Kitchen Aids have higher discounts right now. You need to go through most of the checkout until you put in the promotion code kitchenaid to see the percent discount. |
My Kitchen Aid I basically only use at this time of year. I am not really satisified with it. My problem is that it really doesn't mix down well to the bottom, and I've checked the level of the beaters so so many times! |
Does anyone use their mixer with the meat grinder attachment? I read some reviews on Amazon and the cheap plastic one for $50 gets really bad marks. Wondering if I should spring for the $100+ one. |
