Just a warning: if you still have your phone and want to update to iOS 8, remember to back everything up to iCloud or iTunes beforehand! Usually updating sends your iphone into recovery mode and the only way to use it again it to completely reset it to the factory settings! Don't do the same thing I did! Also: if you want to see the iphone 6/6+ just skip the line at the apple store and check it out at AT&T or Verizon....no line there! :P |

I measured the iPhone 6 with my current Samsung Galaxy S3 and they are the exact same height wise. Width/shorter side wise, the iPhone 6 is considerably less "wider" than the Samsung Galaxy S3. iPhone 6+ I'd say is roughly about the same size as the Note. I see Apple is trying to compete with Samsung! I would choose Apple over Samsung any day. I have the Samsung Galaxy S3 and it annoys me to death. First, when I want to look at a picture in an email, it simply won't just let me look at it. I have to press Download first, wait a bit, then pull down the Menu bar, search for the picture I just downloaded in ALLLL my downloads (which btw, if you try to delete them all, just reappear again in a couple of minutes) to then finaalllyyyyy see the picture. If I want to see it again, I have to do the whole downloading process again. Anyways, I think that iPhones have more of a user-friendly interface. I also like the touchprint feature. |
My new phone is on the truck out for delivery!!! I am so excited :D we are on a mega data plan because my son is a gamer....AT&T just announced this morning twice the data for the same price...my monthly bill will go down 1,140 yearly for 10 more monthly GB..:cheer: |
That's it! All this talk I just had to go look at them. Michelle, I think you're going to LOVE it. I bit the bullet and put my name on a waiting list for the 6+ too. I still have the 4S and am due for an upgrade and with the trade in program it seems like a good time. |

I considered a switch to Verizon anyway, but they're only offering 6 gigs of data for a price comparable to what I'm paying AT&T for 10 gigs. Plus while I could switch Oct. 22, my wife has to wait until Dec. 24 until her AT&T contract runs out. I think we're stuck. |

I haven't had a chance to play around with the camera much...but wow it does so much. Slow motion,time-lapse,panoramic etc.... |
Congratulations. You are the first person I know to have gotten the 6 plus and I'm happy to hear you love it. Have fun with it. |

Diane I was scared to death I would hate the big size of the phone....but I have to say I love it!!! |
I still haven't upgraded to IOS 8 on my iPhone 5s. For those of you that have, or have the new 6 running it. How do you like the way photos are organized? Do you miss having the Camera a Roll feature? |

Have any of you iphone 6 owners used that life tracking (?) app yet? I thought I heard it wasn't working but I may be mistaken. |

Btw I cannot text with screen horizontal because my fingers can't rwach all the keys. But, vertical texting which I hate, is a breeze on the 6 plus. |

I think they added another one to the camera effects on the 6/6+, but I don't know remember what it was called.....Anybody remember? |

Sounds awesome. It tracks your steps, walking and jogging, automatically. One person online said they didn't even set it to track anything and discovered it was. It does a lot of other stuff, too. As for the camera, I think it does time-lapse. Is that what you were thinking? I'm interested in experimenting with that, too. |

I'm glad you're happy with your phone. The main reason I have an iphone is if I have a problem I can take it to the Apple store and they'll take care of it. A few years ago I bought a Motorola flip phone, a few days after I got it I was having major issues with it (don't remember what, I think calls weren't going through, no one else was having this problem). It took hours to get Verizon to send me a new phone. I got the new phone and had the same issue, it took even more time to talk them into letting me get a different phone. If it were an iphone I could have taken it to Apple, had diagnostics ran on it, and gotten a new phone right then and there. I had an ipod touch with an extended warranty, it was getting near the end of the warranty and I was having battery issues. I took it to Apple, they ran diagnostics, and they gave me a new ipod for $50. It was very easy. |
