Curb your dog sign where do you get it? Online? We need one, someone's big dog is pooping & peeing (the grass is dying & dead) on our front yard! I found a big pile of doo doo this morning, right outside in the front of our walkway, on the grass (TG it was easy to pick up:rolleyes:) Grrrr who is this numb nut that's letting their dog poop anywhere...leash free. It's not just our yard, s/he goes everywhere. I leave the front door open during the evening so Turbo can keep watch & bark whenever a dog walks by.:D Probably not a good idea (to let him bark like that), but he's a good watch dog & he'll stop barking when I stand next to him. |
Jenny, go on E Bay and put in No Poop Metal Signs. They have a bunch of cute ones there. They had these at Purina Farms and I thought they were cute. |
Thanks! Will check ebay, amazon, google...thought this one was cute: Please Clean Up Sign available in 4 sizes Ran into this, maybe I should make my own sign inspired by some of these loll: TheMishMash.com: 10 Fascinatingly Atypical 'Curb Your Dog' Signs |
Some times you have to spell it out for people to clean up after their dog or not let the dog do it's business in your yard. When I first got Macy I was the only one in the neighborhood that carried poop bags and cleaned up after their dog. Now I see most of the neighbors are carrying bags and cleaning up after their dog (and we have some big dogs in the neighborhood). I also try to not let my dogs use someone's yard to do their business if I can help it. Luckily we have a lot of open lots here and they love to sniff those instead of nicely mowed lawns. Hopefully a sign will help your problem. |
While not every-one has this option, we encourage our dogs, to go in our backyard, before we walk them; but we also carry poo bags as well. And when I remember paper towels, as we have one dog, that can have some diarrehea on walks, or very loose stools. We also try to have the dogs use the boulevard sidewalk area, rather than front lawns to go poo on. |

Does your neighborhood have HOA? If so, you should report it... Not sure how much good it'll do but in our case, the HOA sent out a letter to everyone in OUR neighborhood. Our problem is the adjoining neighborhood(s). I've seen ppl that I know are not from our hood walking their dogs and on couple occasions, not pick up after them. |
Here are a bunch of nice ones on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/search?q=no%20poop%20sign |
Same problem here, some ppl just open their door and let their dog out. I have followed dogs back to their house, then report them, does no good, gthey keep doing it anyway, these ppl just don't want to clean their dogs poop. Cody has usually done his business in his yard, but I always take bags, have been doing it for years. We have no sidewalks where I live, ppl let their dogs walk 3 feet onto your lawn, if I see them I holler to get that dog off my grass, I don't allow my own dog to walk on my grass or on anyone else's grass. Some ppl just have no respect for others. |

2 Attachment(s) You can make your own! I just got into pyrographic. I had to do it in relation to work but enjoyed it so I'll be doing it as a hobby now. I was thinking about making one of those "Beware of Dog" sign for my home. These two were for just general practices.. Attachment 401455 Attachment 401456 |

If you make me one, I'll buy it.;) Can't imagine myself holding a blow torch (or whatever wood burning tool is used).:D |
I feel your pain. The neighbor has a huge yellow lab and a beagle and for some reason, on their walks three times a day, the owner lets his dogs pee/poop on our yard without picking it up! Just our yard, no one else's, not even his own yard. Even his cat has started pooping near our front door! X( I do know that they sell some signs at PetSmart (at mine anyway) that say : Curb Your Dog, etc., |
