People can be so inconsiderate. The worst is when you don't have any animals, you go out in your front yard and end up stepping in the poop. That has happened to me when I didn't have dogs. The best thing would be if you can catch them in action and then say something. At least then they will realize that you are watching and maybe won't do it again. Even more so why Remy is trained on pee pads. I don't need him sniffing that crap. I love all the signs. Too cute! |
Wow I just had an idea - I wonder if you know the poo bag containers that attach onto your leash, or your belt if you so wish, they also added a spray bottle - say you could put in vinegar and water, and I your dog poos on the sidewalk you could spray off the remainder..... |
I hate when people do not pick up after their dogs better yet why cant they walk along the golf course right across the road. Its disgusting.... My son stepped in poo one day while waiting for the bus and didn't know until he got to class. Thank goodness he had his gym shoes to change into. That had to be a pretty embarrassing day for him. I don't think that a sign would help much but it might be worth a try. Most of them use scoopers but the few that don't I keep an eye on whenever possible. Like when I see them coming I walk out onto the porch and eyeball them. That tends to hurry them along. |

My husband did something that seemed to work...he's BAD! He picked up the poop from our yard and placed it on the front porch of the offender when they weren't home. He was really fed up. Seems like it worked though. I forgot to add....he did not place a bag of poo on the porch, he dumped the poo out of the bag and left it on the porch. |
