Yep. He's here while filming the show. I have watched the first 2 eps of House of Cards and am the same as you, I think I WILL end up liking it, but every time I try to get through more, I'm just not in the right 'mood'. But I'm pretty positive if I stick thru it, I will like it.

GoT I also have yet to 'get into'. I watched the first ep and was just mainly confused. lol

It is soooooo good ! Buy the first part out on DVD .At first it was only on for a month like in February , then just this year they are running the full season on TNT.
Larry Hagman died in real life and it was so dramatic the way they wrote him out of the show.....the new "who shot JR".

Original actors are Patrick Duffy , Bobby, and Linda Gray, Sue Ellen, with other originals popping in.

If you like dark comic book based series there is a new one coming out called Gotham.
From wikipedia
" A new recruit in Captain Sarah Essen's Gotham City Police Department, Detective James Gordon is paired with Harvey Bullock to solve one of Gotham's most high-profile cases ever: the murder of Thomas and Martha Wayne. During his investigation, Gordon meets the Waynes' son, Bruce, now in the care of his butler Alfred, which further compels Gordon to catch the killer. Along the way, Gordon must confront gang boss Fish Mooney, as well as many of Gotham's future villains, such as Selina Kyle and Oswald Cobblepot. Eventually, Gordon is forced to form an unlikely friendship with Bruce, one that will help shape the boy's future in becoming the Dark Knight.[5]"
It will also tell the origin stories of several Batman villains, including the Penguin, the Riddler, Catwoman, the Joker,[5] Poison Ivy,[6] Scarecrow,[7] Hugo Strange, Harvey Dent[8] and Mr. Freeze.[9]

I am actually really looking forward to checking out Gotham and I hope it's good! It could be really great if done right.

It looks really interesting so far. I have only worked on bits and pieces and haven't seen the episodes all the way through.

I can't wait for game of thrones to start back up... Nothing compares to that one in my eyes. LOL when is it going to start again.... Sometime in 2015 I think I read??

Well I guess I'm a weirdo , I watch the walking dead, Bates motel,and penny dreadful, loved the white queen but it's no longer on.

It's so funny that Nip/Tuck was mentioned in this thread. I miss that show. I watched it before I even became a plastic surgery nurse. It was great!! There's a show on now called "Botched" on the E channel. It's very good. It's a reality show on plastic surgery.

I also love The Good Wife! Great show!!

If anyone didn't see the Mini-series of FARGO on FX last season. You should rent it! Won many Emmy's this year and it was great. Billy Bob Thorton produced it. But it's a one time and done thing.

There's also a new comedy series on FX called "You're the Worst"...omg i have never laughed so hard in my life. Probably the FUNNIEST show I've ever seen on TV and because its on FX it can be a little naughty!!

watching boardwalk empire now from season one

I'm finally starting to watch Breaking Bad....heard so much good reviews about it!!! So far it is good. I'm on season 1.

Season 1 is awesome, but Season 2 is way better. Then Season 3 is a significant improvement on 2, while Season 4 is much stronger than 3. Season 5 swept the Emmys for pretty good reason and is probably the best year of the series. I'm not kidding, as good as the show is in Season 1 it gets progressively better the deeper you get into it. But you can't skip anything; every episode relies on all the others before it.
