They are still adorable. ..but I'd be mad too, if the groomer, didn't listen and cut all the face fur off. My Pip, has ears like a donkey, still cute. |

My boys have been groomed 50x probably in their almost 9 years. I always get their bodies shaved short in the summer and a 'yorkie puppy cut' on their faces. I've never seen the hair at the base of their ears clipped that short, ever! That is what is shocking to me. I didn't know their ears were that tall! LOL |
I think they look adorable. Cali and my mom's Oliver have the extra large ears. All the better to hear the treat bag being opened. |

Wow ! Did you call the owner and tell them what she did to them ? I really hope you did. Next time I would call and say is your reg girl there. She is the only one I want to cut them. . . It is funny how big Yorkies ears look when their heads are shaved or wet ;) . . . They still look cute. And look like Yorkies ! |

I LOVE big ears, my last girl was 17 lbs and had the biggest ears I ever saw, her size at 8 weeks old and her BIG ears was the reason I got her. My new boy weighs 12 lbs and has BIG ears, I just love Big ears, when he gets groomed I tell them leave fringes on the ears, I tell them I want the Papillon cut for the ears. This is how I kept my girl, and want the same for my boy. He has a small face, Papillon ear cut reduces the large ears and fits his face better. How I LOVE kissing them big ears. |
Can I see a close up of their face? I can't get enough of their new look. LOL |

They are adorable! Buster and Maggie get cut short for the summer but I ask for her to leave their face hair long. She has cut the face hair short and it does change their looks. But they are still so very cute. Maggie seems to have very big ears when she's cut short but I keep telling her how gorgeous she is. |

That groomer clearly didn't know how to cut a yorkie. Thank goodness it will come back.....I haven't taken mine in in years I just do it myself. Too many groomer not able to follow directions. I will never forget the time a groomer cut my Jack's (RIP baby) hair on the inside of his back legs. I didn't notice it until I got home, I put him down and watched as he walked away from me. The look on my face was  There was nothing back there! He was walking like he just got off a horse, all bowlegged and stiff looking. I think he could feel the breeze back there going through his legs! That was the last straw.... |

I tried to groom them myself. I did a better job than this 'so-called groomer' did!!! But honestly.. Dex, my 6.5lb baby boy turned into an 18 legged 80-lb BEAST!! It was awful. I was crying, he was crying. He wanted to cuddle in my neck to get away from the scissors/clippers... it was just a nightmare. We both needed valium (kidding!)... it was awful! So I won't even bother trying to groom him again. Its not worth the blood, sweat and tears. Then Fletch lets me w/o a problem, but he stares at me the whole time with these huge terror filled eyes. its sad. So I stopped trying. |
