Finished my table! Now what?
 
I finished my table, finally. Now I have to figure out what kind of chairs I want and I am either going to refinish my buffet to match (white distressed bottom with dark top) or do something completely different. What do you think? Does the buffet style fit my table or do I need something completely different? And, I am going to repaint my walls. Oh so much to do.

Shelly, it really came out beautifully! I think anything you decide to do with the buffet will fit perfectly...you have a great eye in what appeals to you and then create it! Very talented! :)

Our new home to be, in a village (pop 989) in the Lincolnshire Wolds. I hope I'm not tempting providence here, as a lot can go wrong buying property in the course of legal conveyance but here's a few pics. Keep your fingers crossed for us please, at 70, I don't want anything to go wrong...

Omg, we could :love:!! I'll be wearing my hair up, for sure - what w/ all the humidity. Heels, for sure some cute heels...bc...well why wouldn't we? MUST get a faux tan for Hawaii too! Otherwise, pale fish belly skin. I'll go with you for a mani.

Shelly, WOW!! You did a phenomenal job, girl! It looks just wonderful! Did you strip all those chairs? That must've been a major job. Also, did you make that galvanized steel starburst piece on your wall? Fun!

Oh, and on the buffet Shelly -- I totally think you can make it work! I can almost envision, though, different legs on the bottom...like a smaller, thinner post leg or something...for some reason?

I love it! It looks just lovely. How exciting! I just adore all the vine on the house...do you love that too?

Yes, it promotes the feeling of charm and privacy, the gardens are really wonderful and settled now after 46 years of development. My wife used to present a gardening program on TV and can't wait to be there.

Beautiful, Shelly! Great job, Love the wall decoration too. If you are going to repaint the walls, I would do that before deciding anything the buffet, which is beautiful too.

Count me in too! WE don't want to pressure Sandy, but I have been looking at dresses. ;):D Attending the wedding will be a perfect excuse to see her finished kitchen.

Thanks! No I didn't strip the chairs. That's where I draw the line. Lol, they are from my previous set. So now I am in the market for chairs. The starburst is actually a windmill head from an actual windmill. I love the windmills that dot our countryside, and I agree on the legs for the buffet. I think I could do that.
