Tomorrow is my big day!!
 
I start my new job tomorrow. I am soooo nervous and I have anxiety! I am excited too but the anxiety mixed with excitement creates weird nerves. I am just praying that its a good fit and I enjoy it there!

Thank you guys. I needed to hear this stuff. I'm a little edgy about both sides of it... Mine and theirs. I hope they like me and I hope I like them!

I remember this time I went on a "8 hour " interview for this company.. The fact they wanted an 8 hour interview should have been a red flag, but it was my first interview I got called back to since my hunt started at the time. I was so so excited about it.. It was presented as an awesome opportunity. Well it ended up not being. Basically they wanted me to go business to business 40 hours a week selling rewards programs for $300 a week!!! I looked at them like they were out of their mind. AND they didnt break down the pay to me until lunch time! I wasted a whole half a day and my feet were tore up because they didn't' tell me I should wear comfortable shoes and I went in heels!! By the end of the day, I felt like the world chewed me up and spit me out! I walked into my house and as soon as I seen my fiance and broke down in tears... Then I slept for the rest of the day... Probably snoring too! LOL

The job tomorrow is a real job.. I know that. They pay has already been discussed before I actually work... I guess you live and learn....

Congrats! Mind if I ask what field the job is in? Hopefully, this will be a very long term thing where both you and your employer would benefit!

Thanks... The first day was great... And guess what...THEY HAVE AN OFFICE DOG!!! A little chiwawa!!! LOL! He is so funny too..... Maybe after I am there for a while I can bring Charlie to work.. Hey you never know!! LOL

That's wonderful! And it's an added bonus on the office dog. How well does Charlie get along with other dogs? It'd be so cool if you could bring him to work too. :)

I know.. I'd never bring up bringing him in right now.... But he gets so excited around other dogs... so happy. I think I need to just get him a cat for now. I did feel bad yesterday because knew he was home alone all day. I left that back door open so he could at least go outside onto the patio.

Thank you. It feels good to feel human again. I guess my biggest problem right now is I feel bad for Charlie because he's not use to being home alone so much, but I guess he will adjust soon. My co-worker takes her dog to get moms everyday before work. Hearing that made me feel even worse lol. Oh well. He'll be fine I'm sure. :) but I had an anxiety attack on my ready to work today and called my grandma to gabe her go make sure my front door was locked. The door is a little messed up to where if it's not locked and the wind blows hard enough it will push open. I was imagining the wris worst like our blowing open abs him getting out and me not knowing until I got home. But she checked for me and eased my worries. As you can see this will be an adjustment for both of us. Lol. But I'm happy. I needed this. :)

Really peeps, with all of the world to see, she only left the door open that one day. :) A cat would be good:cool:

Happy to hear your first day was great and that there is a dog in the office! It would be wonderful if you could eventually bring Charlie. :D

It's going well so far. Everyone seems really nice. My boss is super easy to talk to and the girl I have my desk right next to is really cool too... and helpful. So far, they have started me off slow, so I am kind of getting bored. The morning flies by, but then after lunch it starts dragging.... big time! I know that is because there is a lot to learn so they want me to feel really comfortable before they throw me out to the wolves. I wish they would do it already though. I learn best when I'm thrown out to the wolves! LOL
