You have Twitter???? Yes, that is something that can not be unseen. You know what's even worse....when you have a flashback to that unseeable image months and months later. This just happened to me the other day. I posted a Meme on FB about flip flop weather and how some people shouldn't be out in public with their gnarly feet. Then I remembered :eek: last year there was a woman shopping in Walmart in flip flops with 5" long toenails that were curled up and painted a pearl color. It was the most disgusting things I'd ever seen in my life and now I can't erase it out of my mind. I want to take a large drill and bore a hold into my head to try to forget. Puke, puke, puke........to even attempt a Pedicure on those talons you would need an industrial grit sander, power washer and bench grinder. Please, please please......make it go away! :eek:

Some people shouldn't be allowed out of the house and subject those of us with sensibilities to their total weirdness. For the record, there is NOTHING more disgusting than creepy old, long, dried, crusty, yellowed, deformed toenails and I've yet to see long ones that aren't completely vomit-inducing. Why do some people have to be so intent on grossing the rest of us out?

People of Walmart is just disturbing! I don't visit there very often and try to avoid the place at all costs. But on the rare occasion that I'm forced to run in for that one things that I can't seem to find anywhere else I always keep hand sanitizer available. I've been tempted to douse it over my head, letting it run down my body after leaving.

Almost wish we could go back to analog TV at times thanks to all we see on these HD big screens in full, screaming detail. An image that has stuck with me from a while back was an obviously single older guy on the news with individual gray nose hairs that actually stuck OUT of his nostrils!! And someone should have told him he needed to blow his nose! Don't these people have mirrors? Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwweeeeeee!

This is a sad one...but I truly wish I could unsee the undercover video footage of how they de-fur dogs in China in order to use their fur...it's BY FAR the worst footage / image I've EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. It kills me to have seen it. I know it's educational...and I do believe we MUST see these things in order to know the truth, but man it's such a painful memory...once which I can never reconcile.

Thankfully no one was hurt.....they should let the people who were stuck in that store for 5 hours take care of this jerk.

I didn't even know there was such a process as de-furring a dog!!! And what in the world do they do with that dog fur - wear it or put it in pillows or what the hey?!?!?! It sounds horrible - sounds as if it's being ripped out at the roots or something the way you describe it and not just running a clippers over them. Horrid people - when will the human race ever stop hurting animals to serve our whims??? :mad::mad::mad:

Tragically, in China they use dog and cat fur (and rabbit) for both fur clothing and "faux" fur clothing. This is why we have to be SO careful even when buying faux fur if it's made in China...you really have to check the texture and make *sure* it's faux. They have dog and cat farms that are solely for their fur :(. I've seen a TON of undercover footage for animal cruelty investigations...all of them so horrible...but I have never in my life seen anything so horrific as what they do to these poor creatures to get their fur :(.

It sounds totally barbaric and unimaginable what those dogs have to go through!!! I wonder if they have to regrow fur and keep going through it repeatedly or does it kill them? I wonder what kind of people can hurt animals on a daily basis, even in order to feed themselves or their babies ? How can a person get that low even if they were assigned the job or desperate to work? How do you hurt an animal and hear it scream 9 - 5? I can't imagine the horror of the entire situation.

Blessedly (on some messed up level), these animals do not have to go through the regrowth. The method they use to de-fur them results in a very slow death...which just slays me. I don't know WHY they can't just let them pass humanely by intervening...but in the footage I saw, they don't.

Though I can't relate to being in such dire circumstances that I'd be forced to work at de-furring animals and/or working in cruelty....I truly can't imagine myself EVER, no matter what, being capable of hurting an animal in a cruel way. It's just soulless. To me, a person really has to have almost no soul whatsoever inside to engage in being cruel.
