What did you score from TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Ross, etc?? 1 Attachment(s) I just found this gorgeous platter at TJM. Only $12.99 and it's made in Turkey. They have several designs and colors, but this one was my fave. I love this type of design, kinda reminds me of gypsy-ish stuff. I'm gonna put it on the counter and use it to hold fruit. There's smaller ones too for $9.99. And it says it's food safe. Attachment 396414 What have you scored lately? |

I have a bit of a problem buying salts from those stores. I saw a kit the other day that looked like a lab set with test tubes filled with different salts. It was $40, and I wanted it so bad, why? bc I didn't have TWO of the 12 or so salts that were in there. LOL!! That was when I realized I need to stop buying salts. I recently got a jar from Cyprus. The salts are hollow pyramid shaped. So cool. I am still looking for the yellow "sulphur" salt from India. |

I love going to T.J. Maxx!! I go there about 3-4 times a month. I never know what I'll find there it always has something different. It's not like the same inventory of stuff as in other stores. I think the best thing I got there was a distressed bench with a straw seat. They only had one and that baby was mine! |

Not too shabby but not fancy either. They are newer stores and they look better than they used to. They are in regular strip malls instead of hidden in back lots and basements. I am only going to look for the yellow India salt to see if they have it. I just can't help myself, I love a challenge. :) |

Speaking of shoes, I once saw Frye boots at Ross for $69.99. Unfortunately they were size 5.5 and ran small and this was before I met Susi. I wanted those boots so bad, but anything short of cutting off my toes a la Cinderella's step sisters, it was not going to work. |
Aww!!! I missed out on cool boots? Rats!!! My two, or should I say 3 recent finds at Ross are an MK leather tote that we got for my mom at a little over 50% off. It made an awesome birthday present for her today, especially since all the hardware was still wrapped in plastic. :) Then some incredibly comfy flats for $20!! P, yours will hopefully be in the mail tomorrow. I hope big bro doesn't forget. |
I got a beautiful Asian princess from there this summer also some nice bird figurines but I really love the statue its out by my bridge in my back yard. Im going to look this summer and see if they have anything else I can add to the backyard |

Went to TJ Maxx today, I wont lie I totally went in search of that same platter that Pricilla got :D but could not find it Anywhere. I search the entire store twice. The major score of the day was shopping and some much needed time with my DD Sammi !! I left with only 3 things, I got the pups a new dog toy and two pair of jeans for my son all for only $29 bucks. Time spent with my daughter Priceless !! :love: |
In one location I went to, they had them prominently displayed on an end cap with a big sign "starting at $9.99". Two other locations had them in the decor area (not in the flatware area) and on the way bottom shelf stacked one on top of another. Easy to miss. |

I love those stores! As a matter of fact, I have to go to a birthday dinner this weekend so I will be there tonight for a new top to wear to it. :D Some times the hunt is a little annoying, but you can find some really good deals there. |
