I try my best to make the cakes for our birthdays. One I have done was feom the magazine family fun. It is a swimming pool cake, you make a round cake froest the top blue and the sides any color. Then in the blue you put teddy grahamscut some in half and have the feet in the water looking like they dove in, put the top half in breathmint inner tubes (pasted on with iceing) use strips of gum or fruit snacks as rafts and have the bears on them. The magazine showed little swim suits on them but that was to difficult. Another one I have done is gotten a bucket and put baked cake into it iced the top and then crumbled yellow cake on it and made a sandbucket cake and then had finding nemo decorations. Of course you could always do the dirt cake...pudding and oreo cookie crumbs and then gummy worms sticking out of the "dirt." Personal favorite. I have made some other cakes but they aren't popping into my head but try family fun web site they had some good stuff. |
