Do you remember? The Pink Princess telephone - I was so proud when I got mine. Hoola Hoops and playing Double Dutch? I loved to skip rope Silly Putty Etchograms Sunday hats and white gloves? Ice skates with the double blades on them for beginners? The rise and the fall of the mini-skirt, that rose and fell several times over the past few decades? Split level haircuts? Twiggy? When your mail actually included letters and invitations not just bills and adverts? When cottages were actually cottages and not some second deluxe home in the country? Spin the bottle? Do kids actually still play this? TV shows ---- Zorro my favourite. Bonanza of course. When we actually had dictionairies that were used, and Encylcopedias too, instead of Google. |
