I think Carol will come back too. Only time will tell what happened to the baby. If the baby died, I think we would probably already know somehow though.

I've been so 'meh' about it throughout most of this past season, until the last episode back in December (or whenever the midseason finale was). I just feel like there's only so much you can do now... it just seems like it's ALWAYS the same thing. Get attacked by zombies, no surprise there. It's never a shock when it happens either. You always KNOW when zombies are going to pop out which is kind of annoying. Then one of them always does something incredibly stupid (*cough* Carl *cough*). Then they have no food, or they're just out killing walkers. The one scene in the midseason finale where the little girl was playing by the water and a zombie just SO HAPPENED to pop up out of the ground RIGHT where she was sitting and attacked her. I was literally laughing. Like, I realize it's a zombie show, but it used to be realistic (as realistic as such a show can be).

I don't know, I'm just not feeling it. The only reason I honestly still watch is because my brother watches it every Sunday and I'm usually over there on Sundays so just... end up watching. I hope it starts picking up.

I actually like how Carl is becoming 'in charge' - I think it'll be a nice change of pace, and he's turned into a little badass. I think the kids acting has gotten much better too. But yeah the thing with him going out on his own was just dumb, and no surprise there that he got attacked.

I think they're going to have the baby be alive on the show, but she did die in the comics.

Oh. I didn't realize she died in the comics. I guess we shall see then.

You know the thing I think is funny, is how Michone (sp?) can just take the jaws and arms off zombies and make them her pets. Wouldn't they still try to attack her. They are zombies. They can't be trained. And I don't think they realize they don't have teeth. LOL But they just follow her on a loose rope and don't ever try to attack her. That's a weird thing. Maybe having them on a bar type chain that keeps them at a distance would be more believable.

They don't have any arms either, so how can they attack, although it would seem like they would gravitate toward her and try an gnaw on her. Lol, if you can believe in zombies you have to believe in some of this other stuff. Like why in the heck, don't they all wear padded suits with neck and head covers and gloves? I just sent away for this outfit.

Walking Dead tonight. Maybe we can find out what happened to the baby today.??? IDK but I am not signing on until after I see it tonight because you east coasters will know before I do. lol

I was so upset at this episode, I've never yelled at the screen so much. I can't believe that Tyreese left the two girls alone with the baby, what good what is that they could see the walkers coming, how could they stop them? He wasn't able to save anyone anyway, and it just seemed like his first priory should have been the girls. Gosh, was I mad at him, but I guess they had to bring Carol in as some type of savior. I knew Carol would do something that would make Rick appreciative to have her around. I wonder how long before they all find each other?

It was gut wrenching! Did you realize that Mika saved Tyreese when she fired that shot? Tyreese turned around when he heard it not knowing that a walker was right behind him.

Anyone else here think that it was Lizzie, not Carol, that killed the people in the prison? I think Carol is protecting Lizzie- covering it up and taking the fall. I also suspect Lizzie was the one feeding the walkers.

Oh, I never thought of that, that would really be an interesting story line, I can see Carol doing something like that to protect the girls. On the other hand, I do think even if she killed them, it was a way of protecting others. I'm not sure if the girls were strong enough to carry their bodies out there and burn them. I do believe Lizzie was the one feeding them rats. I was pretty upset about Lizzie covering the baby's mouth, she seemed to be enjoying it too much. I think they are making her an interesting character, but that really bothered me, I know that happens in real life.

Seeing this latest episode... Especially when Lizzie covered the baby's mouth (which btw freaked me out), I can see her killing the two in question. And IF she did kill them, I doubt she's strong enough to drag two bodies outside. I think that's where Carol comes in. Perhaps she came in just as Lizzie finished killing the two. And to protect her, Carol dragged the two bodies outside, burned them, then took the fall when Rick confronted her.

So... is it just me or does anyone else see some of the governer in Lizzie?! That is IF she did kill those two people and was feeding the rats...

I too thought that leaving the girls was just plain dumb...why would he do that? It didn't make sense to me, and it kinda made me mad at the bad writing.

Oh wow...that is a totally fascinating concept about Lizzie and Carol. That would actually explain why Carol didn't/couldn't express much guilt/regret at the deaths of the other two. But aren't the kids locked away from the sick people? I can't recall if they're locked or not. But I can totally see Carol doing this!

Yes, I DO see some guvnr in Lizzie - the same sort of ruthlessness! She is really an interesting little character.

I don't think the kids were necessarily locked away. I think they were instructed to keep out? Other than locking to keep the walkers away, I don't remember anyone really locking any doors...

As for Carol's guilt/regret. I think she felt sad for the situation. I think she's just as loyal to the group as everyone else and wants to protect her "family". I think it was a bad decision on Rick's part to send her away...

Lizzie sort of creeps me out now. And I realized that I shouldn't watch this show just before going to sleep. LOL

I thought she was going to suffocate that baby and kill her for a minute there.

Do any of you watch True Detective on HBO? Lizzy appears on the show....think she is killed off on WD??

I have a feeling the baby will contribute much more to the story in the future. And to do so, she'll have to stay alive. Well... I guess she already started to contribute as that disturbing scene showed the beginning of Lizzie's dark side. Seriously, she looks like she'll grow up to be the female version of the governor. :eek:

Speaking of Lizzie, has anyone watched HBO's True Detective...I believe Lizzie is Woody Harrelson's daughter on the show. Wonder if Lizzie is leaving WD?

True Detective is a good show...in my humble opinion.... :)

I think something weird is up w/ that new doctor character, the look in his eyes is weird.

I was on the edge of my seat when Rick was trapped in the house w/ those outsiders, eek!

Who is she on True Detective? Finally something's happening on that, great acting, but show moves so slowly. Couldn't figure out the storyline fore a long time, maybe that was the problem.

Yeah I couldn't believe that they were going to tell us what "started" the whole thing. Yeah, I'm not sure I trust the doctor character either, a satellite phone that worked until a couple of weeks ago? Anyway, his story might give him some sort of value and people might want to protect him, he doesn't look like he's capable of protecting himself.

Makes me think that the Doc is going to use the remainder of the surviving people to experiment on! To find the so called cure...

How did those dumb dumbs not know that whoever they kill are going to turn into zombies, what planet did they come from???! Thought the last epi was weird, kinda haphazardly thrown in (like form Goldilocks?:D). Can't wait to see if there is indeed a safe place.

True Detective only has 2 more episodes left and then they're getting a new cast for season 2/new storyline, so it probably won't affect TWD.

I just wish that Rick and Carl would bathe and wash their hair! Meshelle got cleaned up, but the boys are gross! Even after Rick put on a clean shirt, he still looked stinky. :eek:

I like the theory of Carol covering for Lizzie, and I think the weird scientist has some terrible ulterior motive. He's creepy-weird, and I almost think he shot out the gas tank on purpose.

Ok, I don't think he shot the gas tank on purpose now, but I did figure out why the doc creeps me out. It's the mullet!!! I mean, really!!! Does he work area 51 without normal human contact? Who has a mullet???? Very weird.

She is not in a lot of scenes, so you are probably right in that it won't affect TWD. Crap, I had a feeling that the storyline would change and that Matthew wouldn't be on the show...:mad: I just love his movies....especially Dallas Buyers Club.

I don't trust the doctor either... there's something going on. Do think he could be lying about knowing what caused the outbreak? I doubt he can survive on his own, seems pretty useless, and this could be his way of getting more able bodied people like Abraham to help him survive.

I'm still thinking he shot the tank on purpose, it was more than one shot and maybe he didn't really want to go to Washington, but just gave that as his story so someone might protect him and see him as valuable. Lol, I do think the mullet is important to the story line, but on "Talking dead" they said it's still a common hairstyle in Georgia. :p

Loved the last episode. Daryl's character is so interesting. He's so hard, yet such a softie deep inside. Was glad to see him finally break down a little. I think he's taking the loss of the group harder than almost anyone else...you can tell how much he misses Rick.

Yes, he's one of my favorite characters, I think he's so disappointed in himself that he wasn't able to do more to save the group, and while he might think of himself as a loner, I think he needs people more than he ever realized.
