Madison is still just driving me NUTS, I don't get her character at all and find her totally annoying. Some of the writing is just so ludicrous to me, like when Travis goes to the survivalist guy "Why are you giving up...??"....um, WHAT? Stupidest line ever, it made no sense at all. And then how Madison and Travis just went right along w/ taking someone's flippin' KIDS for gosh sake...? Really? Even in zombie world, I'm pretty sure that's inconceivable to steal kids without telling their parents...? |
I think Fear is actually getting better. I have seen many things on Walking Dead that defied logic....it is just that we all get into the shows and think how stupid, but it is part of the show. LOL I find myself telling them not to do this or that...or go here or there. I was happy with Fear this week...getting a "bit" more intriguing. Maybe it's just because I need a zombie fix and will accept it to have year round zombies......LOL |
Alot of the characters annoyed me from the start. I think that's one of the bigger reasons why I couldn't get into FTWD... |

With TWD, they're zombie experts...while FTWD, they're such novices, they don't know much yet. I think as the show goes on, there should be more action because the zombiness will spread. |

Meh, I just... can't get into Fear. The acting is just not very good honestly lol. Did anyone catch the new show Containment on the CW? It's a bit too... CW-ish for my liking but kept my attention. I wish that Fear would've gone more in that direction... from what I've seen so far anyway. |
Okay, I enjoyed last night's episode - I feel like it finally got really interesting and complex. But still, some of it just seemed bizarre too (like Travis just abandoning everyone for Chris...I mean really? Wouldn't it be more likely he'd drag that kid back there?!!). I really hope they aren't going to kill off Daniel as he's one of my few faves. |
LOL too many went buggo. I really think they will all be back....we didn't see any of them die. |
Just worked on the season 7 opening episode.:eek::eek::eek: |

I am not sure I am going to like the show going forward...time will tell. I was highly annoyed that they played with their viewers the way they did. Totally unnecessary. |
Been so long, I can't recall who I placed my bet on. #1, the "smart" guy, #2, the red head guy. Just one of them though. Guessing. |

Btw, I have a question -- when you work on a series like you do, do you still actually watch it later? Or is it sorta ruined for you since you saw it being filmed? I always have wondered what it's like to be a part of making a show/film, and then watching it after. Save |

Omg, guys - this SUNDAY is the season premier...!!! I can't even wait. I saw some season trailers and, whoa, this season looks just amazing. Ya know, this show's writers are just beyond incredible really -- to make each season different and yet so amazing and intriguing season after season...really talented writers / producers / crew / actors...everyone. CANNOT WAIT. |
You are a better fan than I. I am with the many who really didn't appreciate the toying they did with their fans last season. We had a cliffhanger only to be screwed with so they could create a cliffhanger out of the cliffhanger...so wrong. Tells me how little faith they have in their fans. I read somewhere that their ratings were down because of it. I don't honestly care at this point who it is ... just want it done so we can move on. I guess I sound heartless, but it is what it is. Maybe once I see the new show I will feel differently....I don't know. Of course I still will watch it....but I have not had my usual "wish it would get here quicker" feeling about the shoe. |

Still, I just can't wait, lol :p. I'm just such a geek over the show, I can't help it! I'm the same way w/ Game Of Thrones too - I just get giddy over it. I don't/can't get excited over too many shows, so it's kinda fun for me to be into them. I also *totally* love The Vikings...have you seen that..? So delicious in every way. |
I'm pretty excited! |

Game of Thrones is my Jam! I love Vikings too. I always thought Ragnar looked like Jax Teller from SOA. Those eyes though! |

Never heard of The Vikings...just looked it up. My stupid DVR went wacky tonight ... going to try to get to Comcast tomorrow for a new one and plan to see if I can go back and see all of the previous seasons. |

Yes - Ragnar and Jax do look alike and have some similar traits too - I adore them both! I loved SOA. I'm still conflicted over Jax's ending...but at the same time, how else could it have ended, ya know? Quote:

Copied from my FB page. I am very disappointed in the show. :( The whole, let's play mind games with our fans, is what bothers me the most. When they didn't show who it was at the beginning last night, I found myself getting more and more distracted. They should not have done what they did at the end of last season....that was enough and then they still play with heads? Instead of making fans more interested, in my opinion, they are pushing them away. Glen was under a dumpster for five days.....that was ridiculous. Then, they told us someone was going to die in the last episode....everyone was upset and watched to see who...then, bang they decide to put us off for six months. I thought it was me at first, but I have read review after review....it is simply not popular and they are losing people. I actually turned off the Talking Dead after a short time...I went back to watching election garbage. |
I just think the whole thing shows that they don't have much faith in their fan base. You don't have to screw with peoples' heads to keep them interested..... Just my thoughts of course. It could end up a blockbuster and I may be the only fan slipping away. I was not looking forward to last night like I usually do ... and not even sure if I care if I see it again. I have never felt that way. I actually find myself looking forward to FTWD at this point. |
I loathe FTWD lol I stopped watching because I found it so blahhh and terrible acting and writing. (copying and pasting from FB my post) See last nights episode actually redeemed it for me. I got tired of it during the end of season 5/beginning season 6. It pulled me back in during the mid season finale of season 6 and I decided to re-watch. I was super pissed when it was Abraham. Not gonna lie. I was like no, I did not wait 6 months for this really. I like him and all but I was like they're taking the easy way out... killing him and not a main character... then wham... the Glenn thing threw me off completely! The way he just swung it and BAM! I don't know. I had a sneaking suspicion it would be Glenn at first but after Abraham was killed I thought he was safe and was not prepared for another death. I'm not going to lie last night was the first episode I actually cried in. I legit thought they were ALL dead after Ricks flashback thing he did where they all got hit with the bat. I thought Negan was really going to own Rick at that point and I had a mini heart attack!!! Lol. I've never been into the show. I was almost shaking I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Anyway I thought Andrew Lincoln deserves an Emmy award for that performance. Fantastic emotion he displayed. I felt sick to my stomach. And for a show/episode to affect me that much? I'm hoping it's going in a different direction with The Kingdom, etc, so I have faith. As sad it was, I felt it was a needed change of direction & pace. I'm anxious to see what Carol & Morgan are up to with these new people. My only hesitation is if the tiger thing is going to work. It's obviously a CGI tiger and I'm not sure if it's going to get too cheesy for me. As the seasons have progressed, it's obviously gotten more 'comic book-y' (and yes I realize it's a comic book). But in the beginning it was so real and human-like... and now it's just turned... like it's not the real world anymore. I mean... yes could someone like Negan exist? In a post-apocalyptic world? Yeah, but it does seem a bit far fetched. I used to think the Governor was far fetched sooo... I guess I've just come to terms that it's going to be like this from here on out and I take it for what it is. A series based off comic books. |
