| ![]() I recently set my computer back up after having it down for 3 months of home renovation. Now I'm getting tons of pop-ups that are really irritating me and interfering with what I am actually trying to read! I am not very computer savvy and don't know how to solve this problem. Can one of you computer whizzes out there help me? Thanks!

| ![]() Make sure your browser's popup blocker is enabled. If you haven't already, make an account on your computer that does not have full administrator privileges. Control Panel > Add User Account Using a general user account rather than an admin account helps prevent things from being automatically downloaded and installed on your computer. It's an easy way to increase your security. Virtually anything that is installed on your computer then requires entering the administrator's password.

| ![]() Here's directions for Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95472?hl=en Directions for other browsers will be under Advanced Settings, Tools, etc., on the menu on whatever browser you are using.
