OMG, it's so good! I don't want it to end. Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy have to be the best show on at the moment. The Walking Dead is pretty good but give me a dose of Jax or Jesse and I'll be all set! |

And Jane, I saw her on the billboards for Don't Trust the B show, but I never watched it. Did it get canceled already? |

Oh so I watched to until Skyler just admitted to Walt she slept with her boss. I'm guessing she did this just to hurt Walt and that she's actually not attracted to her boss? But I was always thinking that her boss was attracted to her. And she is always wearing cleavage tops to work! LOL |

Yeah I don't watch much tv. Most shows don't hold my attention. I usually can't even get thru one episode. Not only do I like this show, bf also likes it. Oh so we also finally saw the non-speaking cousins make their debut too. Do they actually talk later? Or just look all intimidating and menacing? |
Omg hank got suspended and then almost got killed! The show is getting so good! I don't really care for the trouble at home/skyler stuff though. I'm hating her more and more. I'm left wondering if her part is going. To play a larger role later on? We watched about three eps last night. I could have weed more but bf said we shouldn't finish the shows too quickly, then we will have nothing to watch. |

Yes Hank almost getting killed was super suspenseful. I hated Skylar for a while. |

A lot of other really popular shows I tried watching but couldn't get into. I couldn't even get more than 5 mins into Dr Who. Game of Thrones seems like I could like it, but I thought it was like a comedy that I didn't get. The first clip I watched was the heart eating scene. |
Why do people hate Skyler? I don't see anything wrong with her running off to Ted after the garbage Walt gave her up to that point. Who in her right mind would stay loyal to a meth cook who is practically holding her hostage and bringing so much danger to her kids? |
She should have left if she didn't like the situation instead of doing what she did to try to get rid of Walt. But she was totally fine with having the bills paid with drug money. How much money could she possible make with a part time book keeping job? And no matter what, she just had a baby and is already sleeping with another man? That's pretty scandalous. To me matters of the heart are sometimes more hurtful than breaking the law. Like cheating is not illegal, but certain drugs are, and meth used to be legal along with numerous others/ Cocaine used to be marketed as a cure all. Ecstacy used to be prescribed for depression. |

(1) a heroin addict named Bubbles (2) a brutal criminal named Omar (3) a brilliant drug pusher named Stringer Bell (can't really find a good video without spoilers) I love some of these scenes I highly recommend this series if you're looking for a great drama after Breaking Bad. Plus it ended around 2007 or so, so you can watch the entire series without having to wait 6 months to see what happens next episode waiting for a new season. |
Nice! Thanks for the tip. I'll watch the clips when I get home. Connection at work is a bit slow. But the heroin use parts are gonna be hard to see. :( |
I still have yet to watch The Wire... I've been wanting to, since Baltimore is so close to home as it is. But it's not on netflix so I have to find a place to watch it. The only other show that I got really hooked on was Nip/Tuck, but only the first 3 1/2 seasons were really good. It got really weird in 5 and 6. But I just had never seen another show like it- it's so original, well written, and if you like just REAL characters who are deeply flawed but you somehow manage to still either like them or care for them.. it's a good show, if you can get through the plastic surgery scenes which are only max 5 mins or so per episode. Also lots of sex lol, as a warning. But it gave me a different opinion on plastic surgery (I did not used to think highly of it, it's opened my mind). And all of the stories are about real cases they base them off of. I am so intrigued by that lifestyle too, as it's so not me, but I know many people who live like that. It's just interesting to me to get different perspectives, I guess. But to be honest it was one of those shows I NEVER thought I would like, not really 'my type' but I think it's worth looking into. I can't decide if you would like it or not but might be worth giving a try and at least watch episode 1 of season 1. Tuco is in it! LOL. Actually Hank appears too and a few others I think from BB, oddly enough. It's kind of a mix of like Breaking Bad and like... I don't even know. But it was another series I watched all 6 seasons fairly quickly. |
I see the complete series of The Wire for $45 on ebay: THE Wire THE Complete Series DVD 2008 23 Disc SET 883929023196 | eBay Maybe get the first 2 or 3 episodes off itunes (@ $1.99 each) and see if you like the series. Or download it somewhere. A lot of people don't like Season 2, but otherwise it's considered really strong the other 4 (I personally find Season 2 amazing though). It's a really ugly portrayal of the Baltimore PD from a Baltimore PD homicide detective, but they're still shown as the good guys for the most part. |
Never have seen any of Nip/Tuck. I'll have to check it out and see what I think. |
Honestly though, there's only 3 shows I can say I really liked: 1. The Wire 2a. The Sopranos 2b. Breaking Bad Not sure which I rank higher between 2a and 2b. On one hand Breaking Bad has characters that you can care about while every major and minor character other than Dr. Melfi is pretty evil on The Sopranos. But I love the action in Sopranos and there are a couple of really creative episodes: e.g., the one where Tony is hallucinating Big Pussy as a fish, or the two where he's dying and hallucinates that he's a DOD contractor. But Breaking Bad has real character development while everyone in Sopranos is one-dimensional. |
I only watched a few eps of Nip Tuck. I saw the Kimber doll episode, and a few others with Kimber's evil girlfriend who looks like Minnie Driver and Posh Spice had a love child. :D That show wasn't for me. |
That was an amazing episode. This series just keeps getting better and better. |
For those who didn't see the conversation with the writer and cast, here it is. A Conversation with the "Breaking Bad" Cast & Creator on Livestream I thought I should have given up with season 3 when I got to season 4 because of one horrid part but so glad I didn't. Really it's a wonder I didn't have an anxiety attack later on into it.:D Think train. For those who didn't watch it yet, I must tell you, you will find yourself saying 'Poor Jessie' over and over, talking to the screen in front of you. |

Are you guys talking about the episode that just aired? I'm barely starting season 4 now. Jesse just killed Gail. |
