I took this from something written about the D3200 which has the same focusing motor as the D3000 and D3100.
The 11-point AF system allows quick, precise focusing by blanketing the image field with focus points, helping to ensure the best focus position for sharp images.
It takes 3 frames per second. I think you will be very happy with it. Your limitation will more be how bright it is outside to use fast shutter speeds. That's why very serious photographers use lenses that allow a lot of light into them, but they are very expensive and heavy. I have heard so many great things about Nikon kit lenses, and you should be very happy with both of those lenses. |
