Sending prayers for all caught in the flooding. I have been seeing pictures of all the flooding on FB and on the tv. It looks awful. I pray you get your electricity on soon. Please stay safe. |
Oh No what an ordeal I am so sorry and I wish you the best getting your home back in order. I love storms but I hate the aftermath and the destruction they cause. Not trying to sound insensitive or anything but Boy that storm sure scared the piss out of your cat . . . poor kitty. |
OH NO! I'm so sorry to hear this. Life as we know it just stops w/o power! Here is hoping and praying that they can get your power back on soon and your husband doesn't have to keep running the generator for long. |

Razzle wasn't too happy he was shaking from all the generator noise, car honking, sirens going off etc. Once we all went to bed he settled pretty easily. |
Wonderful that your power is back on and I hope all those other poor people get theirs on soon. Hope that weather clears up, too! |
Another storm watch for late night. Rolling backouts planned for part of the city. At least it didn't rain much during today, although the ground is water logged. WE are not yet out of the woods, although I hope soon we will be. Our power has stayed on. And we have gas, and water, and fully charged batteries and cell phones, so a bit better prepared, |
Did you send it to GA? We had had heavy storms all day. |
Oh, my goodness! I am glad your power came back on. Hope it stays. Sorry about your basement. I hope the insurance guy will be nice. :) |

I hope things settle down for you, Gail. You have gone through way too many stressful things lately. I hope Karma is doing better and Razzle is now back to himself. I used to get so anxious during storms because my Rainbow Bridge babies were so frightened. It's started out from a great fear of thunderstorms that got generalized to include rain. Katie isn't phased by storms or fireworks. She just wants to play! I hope the cleanup isn't too bad and that your power stays on. I'm hoping for blue skies for you and some beautiful weather so that you can take your pups for a swim in the lake. |
